Well worth it

I have placed 3 claims thus far for my 2 year old Russian Blue. Twice he was taken to the emergency hospital for vomiting/dehydration.Most recent claim was when he broke his leg.Claims were paid promptly

Incredible Company and Fast Claim Service!

If you have a pet, you need pet insurance. I adopted a 3 1/2 year old dog in October and immediately started researching pet insurance. I chose Healthy Paws in November because the policy seemed to be the right fit. In January, my dog developed bloat and after 3 consecutive days visiting the ER, it was decided my dog needed surgery.When they told me what the cost would be, I almost fainted. Then I remembered Healthy Paws and prayed they would cover this. I submitted my claims online, and received payment in less than a week, as well as receiving an email inquiring about my dogs' progress. I never suspected an insurance company to actually care! I recommend Healthy Paws without any hesitation.

Worth every penny.

Our 4yr old, Haley, tore her cruciate ligaments in both knees. She just had her first TPLO surgery and it wasn't cheep! Health Paws paid the claim fast and without and hassles. I wish all insurance companies operated this way.

Great Service

Trupanion operates exactly as a pet insurer should. Our puppy recently contracted an intestinal parasite. The same day as his vet visit, I submitted a claim and the invoices to Trupanion for both the fecal test and the medicine. A few days later, we got an email saying our claim had been received, a few days after that we received an email saying our claim had been processed and a few days after that our checks were in our mailbox. We were reimbursed for 90% of the medicine and test as promised. Trupanion is great; they're fast and the claim process is super duper easy.

best pet insurance company

I was covered gratis for 30 days when we brought Sadie to the vet for her initial check up and shots. she ate something in the yard and started throwing up and foaming at the mouth. the vet took care of everything and so did trupanion

Recommend Embrace Pet Insurance

I have both the Wellness coverage and accident/illness coverage for my 2 dogs. Luckily, we have not had to use the accident or illness policy. The Wellness policy has been easy to use, and they have handled all of my claims quickly and easily.

Worse experience ever !! cumbersome & bureaucratic

My dog as 1 year old and unfortunately broke a leg. She got a surgery and now is fine. I contacted Embrace to be reembursed. Long story short... Embrace wanted a "detailed" report from every single time she had visited a vet... The criteria of what "detailed" is, only Embrace knows... And whatever to I had on record or the vet(s) sent was never enough. It took me over one month of calling to get it sorted. It is worthwhile to mention that everytime I called, I had talked with someone new on the call center that "repeated" the same speech for me to keep asking the vets. When I asked a supervisor or someone "in charge", they were never available to talk on the phone or to call back... I imagine if my dog was 5 years old. I would never be able to find all the "detailed" reports Embrace wants... I really felt that they were doing all possible to delay and prevent paying. in summary, i don't know if Embrace is better or worse than other pet insurance but I had a really BAD EXPERIENCE !!!

Recommend Embrace to ALL with Pets!

Love everything about Embrace but The ONLY thing I would like is when I go to your website to see my Case & it is already closed, how do I know what I was paid for. There has to be a way for all of us to see the amount you paid for each item pertaining to our pets like for example, blood workup, testing or inections to make pets better eetc. I want to see that I am getting the right amount & that I am not getting charged a deductable each time for the same item. My cat just got Diabetes & am going to the VET each week to see if the levels are good enough for my cat & afraid I may get charged 2 or more times each week. I would like to always be allowed to see my statements & not close them the second acheck is sent out..

God send in time of trouble

My cat's name is Ivory and she just turned 7 on 08/01/2014. I have had Pet-first since she turned about 1.In the beginning ,I had the full well and sick/accident coverage. Just 2 years ago, I switched to only sick and accidental coverage. I have been very happy with the reimbursements over the years. Recently, in late May,Ivory went in for her annual check up with her vet, and a lump was found near her right hind thigh area. I was told to observe it and come back in 2 months for an ultrasound. I was back at the vet 3 days later ,with fluid and a mass on her entire thigh. That's when I was sent to the Blue Pearl hospital to have her worked up for the cause of this illness. She had to stay overnight and had may tests and a biopsy, confirming Fibrosacrcoma, a vaccine related cancer. Floored by this news, and heart broken, I chose to bring Ivory home and care for her in a hospice style. The prognosis is poor with this type of cancer, and I did not want her leg amputated and radiation treatments done ,the suggested plan by the hospital surgeon. In my research on Fibrosarcoma, even after amputation of a limb, this type of cancer comes back. I did not feel it was fair to Ivory, to put her through the pain and suffering these heroic measures would put her through, just to have her live a little longer. The total bill was around $2,524.16. I love Embrace

Embrace is great. There are no secrets, everything is straightforward, timeframe for expected service is fair, and above all, they don't treat me like I'm stupid for having questions. I've called three times (Spay, Genital Smeats, Digestive indiscretion) now and every time they were able to explain to me everything I needed to know. Embrace will be my insurance carrier for my current puppy and any other eligible pet moving forward.
