Trupanion had been my insurer for the past year. I have been very pleased with the response from the company in caring for my dog and for reimbursing the claims I have sent in. I highly recommend this company for their compassion and great service

I decided to get pet insurance for my yorkie last year at the age of 7. At that time I researched my options and Trupanion seemed like the best one. They had no lifetime or yearly maximum payouts and they seemed to cover everything except pre-existing conditions (no company I found covers these). Well the proof is in the pudding. This year my yorkie was diagnosed with IBD and protein losing enteropathy. His case has been a difficult one to treat and the bills have been pouring in. Trupanion has been great in reimbursing me quickly and they do cover almost all of it at 90%, just as the contract says! Without Trupanion, on top of worrying about my dog's health, I'd also be worrying about how to pay all the bills. Their customer service is fantastic and they truly do care about and love the animals they insure!

If it weren't for Trupanion, I do not know what we would have done. My puppy seems to enjoy eating anything she shouldn't. Unfortunately that included an NSAID that pups do not digest. Thank you for allowing us to have her treated.

After a long and arduous struggle, in which my Veterinarian had to write a 25 page rebuttal to a claim denial (for a pre-existing medical condition, which did not exist at the time I took out the insurance) Embrace paid the claim.I would like to Thank Embrace for changing their minds and doing the right thing.

My five year old beagle, Ellie, developed a small bump above her left forelimb knuckle near Halloween last October (2014). I thought it was just a passing bruise or bug bite, until it continued to grow from 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter by Christmas.My vet biopsied and diagnosed the bump as a soft tissue Sarcoma and performed the necessary surgery to remove the mass in early February of 2015. Embrace reimbursed the $1200+ claim within three weeks of submission. The mass has now regrown, and having determined that the cancer has not spread to the lungs, we have scheduled surgery to amputate the left forelimb at the shoulder. Ellie and I are hoping for a happy ending. I thank my Embrace team of health professionals for their timely and continuous support during these difficult times.
