We felt like we had an ally with our pet's care!

Our Pug, Frank, is a ten year old valued member of our family. Like many older dogs, his vision has been failing...so when he wandered into a car in front of our fifth wheel trailer on a recent camping trip, we were horrified. Even though the car was only going five miles an hour, his right front leg was broken. The resulting injury required surgery, the surgeon placing a plate on the bone to stabilize it. We thought the worst was behind us until, at our first return visit learned he had gotten an infection in the wound causing a second surgery, and daily vet visits for almost two weeks for bandage changes and wound care. He was on a multitude of medications and under constant care. Thank heavens we have ASPCA PET INSURANCE! Within seven days of our original claim, 90% of our costs (-the deductible) were deposited back into our account. And, I learned that all our other claims have been completed today! It felt like our Frankie had a guardian angel...there to ensure he got the best available care! We truly thank them! We love our pets as if they are family....and I feel having pet insurance is not only the smart thing to do, it's the responsible thing to do! THANK YOU ASPCA PET INSURANCE!

They were terrific!

Our service dog Roxie had an ACL repair. We submitted the claim to Healthy Paws and they responded promptly paying the claim appropriately. The process was simple and easy. The followed up by email to make sure Roxie was recovering well. They were terrific!!

Overall Worst Experience Ever

Out of all of the customer service I received for insurance/bills, this is by far the worst. I work in customer care and I can easily tell how bad your service is. If you were to send out a NPS survey to your customers you wouldn't even hit 10% in average. Claims is slow and overlooks information already provided. They request for additional information the first time. Okay, no problem. I send it over and tell them that it applies to both my policies because I had a free 30 day and another subscription with routine visits. They send another email 5 days later delaying the process again asking for the same paperwork I already provided. Do you know how ridiculous your efficiency and work ethic is? I cancel my plan the day before my policy renewal. They tell me 2 days later that the cancellation is effective on that day. I spoke to a customer care rep and she told me that it is effective on the day you send the form and notice. I write them back, what a waste of time, and tell them of their mistakes AGAIN. They fix. Now here's the bigger issue. I submitted an accident claim for my free 30 day and my other claim with vet routine visit. TWO SEPARATE CLAIMS FOR TWO SEPARATE POLICIES. Do you know what they did? They put it under one policy that provided 90% reimbursement while the free 30 day provided 100%. Do you know how bad of a reputation this looks on you? I have tons of records of correspondence to even prove this. Don't call me or email me because your retention efforts will fail.

Horrible.

My dog had an ear and eye infection. No where does the vet say this is due to allergies, yet they didn't pay the entire claim because they assume the infections were due to allergies. They continue to get out of paying any of the bills for my dogs.

Excellent Service

We have been with Healthy Paws since July. In August my French Bulldog began to have some vague issues such as pain, trouble swallowing, and noisey breathing (more than usual). We brought him to the vet over the next month several times. Then in September help had to be hospitalized for over a week. They performed every test under the sun on my little boy. We submitted multiple claims to Healthy Paws, they were approved quickly. His last claim was approved in a matter of 2 hours! Thank you Healthy Paws for allowing us the piece of mind to provide our baby boy with the best possible care and not stress about cost! They even checked up on our little guy to see how he was feeling. Would definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone, and I have told all my friends how amazing they have been!!!!

Best Pet Insurance!

I can truly say that my experience with Embrace has been extraordinary. We feel blessed to find a company that truly cares about you and your pet. After less than a month of having Embrace for my dog “Kaline”, she was infected with a bacteria that put her in the hospital for more than two weeks. Embrace paid our claim in less than two weeks. We are really thankful for Embrace and we recommend this company to everyone.

VPI (Nation Wide) is Terrible

I have been with this company for almost 10 years, they sometimes pay but not always. So I spend years without submitting a claim, I kept it simply in case of emergencies, but now that my dog is almost 10 and has medical issues they are not covering must of them. When I first got they only had one plan and it covered must every thing, however they stared coming up with different plans to charge more and if you don't keep up with them you end up with less coverage. Unfortunately now I can't go anywhere else and I am stuck paying vet bills and them as well. Last year he went through all of his benefits and didn't even had a medical emergency just for the medications and one or two x rays.
