Great Service and Coverage from HealthyPaws

We have two dogs covered through HealthyPaws pet insurance. Their customer service is really top notch. Every time I call, I get a live person who is friendly and willing to answer questions. The online portal makes checking in on policies and submitting claims really easy. It's also very easy to maintain different policies for different pets. They email updates on claim status also keep me informed. We have been through 3 different vet offices (2 general practitioner and 1 urgent care) with our 2 dogs, all of which were accepted through HealthyPaws. Like most other pet insurance, preventative care is not covered (including teeth cleaning) and neither are pre-existing conditions. But every emergency and/or injury has been covered making it really worth it for us and our two most precious animals. I highly recommend HealthyPaws for pet owners everywhere. I also recommending signing your pet up when young, that way there are not surprises!

They lost my claims and I'm still waiting

Very disappointed in this company. Claims take months to be processed unlike my previous company. I recently discovered that none of my claims for 2016 submitted by two different doctors for two different dogs had been logged on my portal. I called to discover that they mysteriously did not arrive at the company! I then had to resend everything and start over in line for them to be processed. It's October and I'm still waiting. There was NO explanation or answer for why this happened and there was no accommodation for me, the customer who pays monthly for my two dogs. If one of my dogs didn't have a heart condition I would change to another insurance without hesitation.

So easy and helpful - worth every cent.

I signed up 2 cats for illness insurance, while both were seniors, yet healthy. This year, one was diagnosed with cancer. He even lost a leg trying to save him. We did all we could but he passed on. My bills didn't add to my grief, thanks to Pets Best. Claims handled within a week and reimbursement within the next week. They even canceled his account after he died and sent condolences so I didn't have to make that call. Very glad I got this insurance. Great job to those at Pets Best.

Peace of mind

I'm so glad that I was able to give Harley the care he needed when we discovered he had a luxated eye and cataracts. Unfortunately we were not able to save the eye, but he is pain free and still a happy boy. Shortly after that we discovered that he had a cracked tooth which was also removed thanks to ASPCA pet insurance. I am so thankful that I can give my boy the care he needs and know that ASPCA pet insurance will be there when I need them.

Pets Best Dog Policy

You essentially denied a pet his final rights by cancellation of his Pets Best policy and then apply a deductible room a closed account .

Highly Recommend

My dog Luna had surgery to repair a torn ACL. HP covered 90% and are also covering physical therapy including acupuncture. I've spoken to the representatives a couple of times and they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They also sent a follow up letter checking on Luna's progress. I receive a certain peace of mind having insurance for my pets, I'm happy to pay and hope I never have to use it, however I worried that if I had to file a claim it would be a hassle and struggle to be reimbursed. I am extremely relieved and grateful that with Healthy Paws my concerns were unfounded. I'm very impressed.

Puppy Love this Company

I have been with Healthy Paws since I decided to invite a Black English Lab to join our family. Considering the fact that I am retired and also considering the high cost of veterinary care, I wanted to have the assurance that if any illness or injury occurred, I would have the proper insurance to help me be able to afford the proper care for my pet. I chose Healthy Paws for the affordability and flexibility of their plans ( I was able to choose the deductible and reimbursement level I was comfortable with). I also LOVED the fact that if any illness or injury occurred it was covered - Period. Upon reviewing many other plans, you had to be a lawyer to go through their disclaimers, conditions and schedules stating what parts were covered and what schedules led to non coverage, etc. and this seemed to be the norm for many pet insurance companies - NOT Healthy Paws! In closing my dog has allergies- her medicine is covered - My dog unfortunately needed X-Rays and major knee surgery.... Thank Goodness for Healthy Paws - believe it or not EVERYTHING (surgery, meds, overnight stay, etc) WAS COVERED! The company also reached out to me personally to see how my dog was recovering and sent hugs. I LOVE THIS COMPANY. Thanks to Healthy Paws my pet was able to have the specialized surgery she needed and will now be able to lead a healthy life. Saying thank you is just not enough!

The woman on telephone was not only helpful, but went out of way, By calling others, to see what could be covered, Now< i have 2 cats, with EMBRACE. Your coverage, and workers are very helpful.
