Embrace, a 10 out of 10 pet insurance company.

I rescued a 2 year old miniature poodle after the passing of my 18 1/2 year old poodle. I did have pet insurance for the first pet, but not Embrace. That company was OK, but had many restrictions. I researched many of the available pet insurance companies and settled on Embrace. It was the best decision I had made for insurance. My vet hospital automatically submits my claims to Embrace, and then Embrace notifies me they have receive the claim. In a few days I receive another notice that the claim was approved. Then in another few days, I receive the check. I have never had a claim rejected, or questioned. I only wish my own health insurance company was as responsible as Embrace. I also told my Vet hospital that if anyone asks about pet insurance to mention Embrace Pet Insurance on my recommendation.

Helped me find the right plan!

When I called in thinking I was going to cancel my policy for my cat, Beth helped me find a lower-cost plan that meets my needs. I never felt pressured, and she listened to my situation, helped me save some money, and found the right policy with a good amount of coverage at a price we can afford. Thank you for peace of mind.

Thank you for being there when we needed you most. I can't say enough. Claims aren't haggled, they are paid quickly, and customer service is more than willing to help. I have used several different insurers over the years, and by far, Embrace is the best! Thank you!

Routine services were covered.

I recently submitted my dog Charley's bill for routine annual veterinarian services and was glad to receive prompt reimbursement. I have to admit knowing that these services were covered by his policy was an incentive for me to get him to the vet when his shots were due.

Fantastic Claims Service!

We just recently had to file our first claim with Healthy Paws and it was easier than I could have imagined. Once the claims paperwork was submitted it was only a matter of days before I started receiving emails that the claims were being processed. I had to call on two different occasions with questions and my questions were answered in a very professional manner. The claims department made sure that I understood their process and that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. Healthy Paws provides great coverage and wonderful service. They even sent a follow-up email to make sure our Boudreaux was doing well post-claim. We are very satisfied customers! Thanks Healthy Paws!

Do NOT use this company!

If you think that you'd rather pay cheaper premiums than have no insurance at all for your pet, think again. I've been paying premiums for 2 years, and once my dog had an accident and had to have surgery they refused to cover it. I talked to my vet who did the surgery, and he was completely on board with my assessment of the situation - that the case should have been covered. He provided additional documentation that they require as part of reassessment paperwork, but the case was denied again, with a different reason code now. Needless to say, I decided to cancel my policy after that. I tried to call them to cancel but wait time was over 30 minutes (which I've now realized is pretty standard for them). So I sent an email asking to cancel my policy immediately. Two weeks later I still got charged the monthly premium. If I don't see a refund from them in the next couple of days I'm disputing this charge with my credit card. It's a matter of principle. Basically all they are good for is collecting your premiums year after year. They won't cover anything. So you might as well not have insurance at all and save your money, or look into getting a different insurance plan through a better company.

Best decision ever!

My dog has had several illnesses and an injury which was wasLife threatening. Not only were my claims handled quickly and efficiently,the customer service advocates were very concerned. I have been so pleased with their service.I wish I would never need them, but when I did;they were terrific.

Fantastic Service

Our young Rottweiler had a successful major TPLO surgery 5 months ago. Embrace processed and paid the claim in a smooth and timely manner. So, when my clumsy girl twisted her now healed up leg and tore the meniscus in the same knee, I was upset on so many levels. She was unable to walk or stand, intense pain made her immobilized. She needed a wholly unexpected surgery to remove the torn cartilage. So grateful that it was covered by Embrace with their smooth and flawless service. It was so helpful to not worry about the insurance/financial impact of the injury and be able to attend to the care of my girl instead. Happy to report she is up and about without pain!
