The best pet Insurance carrier out there!

EMBRACE is by far the best, most reliable pet insurance carrier out there! They almost always cover my claims, and helped us through a very difficult time with one of our rescues. I recommend EMBRACE to anyone out there who is considering pet insurance, it is definitely the way to go!

Coverage and service is not worth the cost

I have had this policy for almost 2 years and have never had to file a claim before this. Despite the fact that less than 5% of my claim was even covered, I was continuously told incorrect information by several employees. There was a clear disconnect and lack of understanding throughout the entire process and I was left frustrated and unassisted. Being in the customer service industry for so long, I don't typically write poor reviews however, this was a disappointing experience for me. With that, I will not be renewing our policy in July.

Their very Good !!!!!!

I am lucky, as I tried Embrace first, and have never regretted it. I heard some horror stories about other pet insurances, but as I stated, Embrace is the first I tried am I'm fully satisfied. Just read your policy that you decide to take and Embrace will come thru. I say read the policy , as some people complaint they did not receive some refund on a bill, but in fact, they probably did not incorporate that item in their policy. Read the policy that you choose and you will be happy !!!!!

Very happy after two years and several claims!

We first took Embrace insurance on a free trial basis and during that time had a serious problem with one of our two small dogs. Thank God for Embrace! They took care of a large bill with no questions asked. Here we are with over two years experience with Embrace and we wouldn't be without our pet insurance. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Embrace and can highly recommend them.

Disappointed

I had a very bad experience with Embrace Pet Insurance. I purchased insurance in May 2016 and had my first incident in December of 2016 when I had my dog at the vet for vomiting and diarrhea. My claim was denied because they felt he had a preexisting condition that was possibly chronic because he had been to the vet 6 months earlier with the same core symptoms. They didn’t identify it as a preexisting condition until after I filed the claim and they reviewed his records. I understand preexisting conditions and I may be to blame for not reading my policy completely. I do think, however, that it is a questionable business practice to allow you to continue to pay premiums when you aren’t sure what is covered and what isn’t. I also find it difficult to understand how it can be considered chronic when it happened 6 months apart. In the first case, there was no confirmed diagnosis. In the second case, they gave it a general diagnosis of gastroenteritis. It ultimately was my responsibility with the help of my vet to prove it wasn’t the same thing. Embrace’s underwriting team took the easy route of assuming it was the same thing and wouldn’t pay the claim. I am a first-time puppy owner and assume stomach issues are relatively common in puppies. Especially those that are into everything and choose to put most of it in their mouth. Making a blanket preexisting condition like this, prevents them from having to pay for most of the things I would take him to the vet to treat. I suppose there are worse things that could happen, but expecting coverage and being left with nothing is a bad feeling. If you are considering this plan, read everythign carefully and have them review your coverage after any trip to the vet.

Highly Recommend Embrace

Coverage has been sufficient and easy to manage. Have not been given any problems yet on claims and they've been paid quickly. I feel the price is reasonable and the customer service I receive when I call or email is great.

Very Dissapointed Will NOT Recommend

Our cat is presently staying with a family member, due to my husbands medical problems. Our cat refused to eat became lethargic, and begun to pull his hair out. We advised them to bring him to the vet as we have insurance coverage for him. He was due for his physical and vaccinations as it had been well over a year. The diagnosis was severe allergy he was given a shot and medication, the vet gave them a financial break as they have other pets. We submitted the bill and have been informed nothing will be covered, no well care no shots to prevent disease, and no coverage for the medications to make him feel better. We are very unhappy and disappointed and think it may be time to look for a new pet insurance provider. Our previous vet had recommended pet first as one of the better ones, I guess he was mistaken!

Splendid service!

We heartily recommend ASPCA Insurance for the care of a pet.Their staff immediately acknowledges the receipt of our claims, and soon after the appropriate amount of funds appeared in our checking account. We are impressed that in phone and email correspondence that the staff asks about our beloved dog Hildy by name. It shows that they take extra care in handling each case.

NOT SERVICE ORIENTED

It TOOK 19 MINUTES FOR AN ANSWER ON THE PHONE and it involved listening to a horribly repetitive message...zzzz. It took me time to carefully read the new documents which arrived along with a letter talking all about a new underwriter but the letter said NOTHING about a huge rate increase--from about $35 per month to over $48--I had to find that by reading the tiny type in the document--and nobody at their office could understand why this was terribly offensive and misleading. And they want a $2.50 per month fee to process my payment--which is done with a virtually free automatic pay from my back acct. I spoke to a surly supervisor who could not understand my concerns (he just said I was making terse and underhanded comments). They too have been taking my money since 2008 and now bury the notification of a thirty percent increase--and all they can say is it is because of a new underwriter???? I would dread having to deal with them for a claim. I keep trying to speak with an executive--but nope--send me to customer solutions,....solutions?? How they handle such calls and inquiries is very telling. As I was speaking to the supervisor Eric, I read to him the various awful and recent reviews online...and he kept on going back to NOT understanding why their "notification" was insufficient and offensive.....I am now looking elsewhere for a better rated company with much lower premiums...but I doubt PetWatch24 care... cut this leash and run baby run...
