Pets Best is awesome!

Buddy became diabetic last August and Pets Best has been there with us through it all. I cannot say enough good about Pets Best.

The best!I

I cannot recommend Healthy Paws highly enough. I adopted a dog and due to Vet miscommunication I didn't get a proper check up done on pick up (even tho at the time they said it was enough to use for insurance purposes, later they said it wasnt). So a month later my dog was diagnosed with a serious leg issue and I didn,t have the correct pre insurance exam paperwork. So Insurance wouldn't pay right? Wrong. Healthy Paws worked so hard with me to help, and ended up accepting my dog's adoption paperwork in lieu of the correct exam. And I'm not talking inconsequential sums here, I was so impressed by their absolute determination to help. I found them so helpful and the proper human face of insurance companies. I cannot imagine why anyone would Insure their pet anywhere else.

Pets Best is the best

I have insured five dogs over the years with Pets Best and have been very happy with how clear and upfront they are about coverage. I wish human coverage would be so clear. When I called Pets Best customer service about what my dog was going to need they told me it would more than likely be covered and I would receive reimbursement quickly. I felt with my 80% reimbursement I could afford to give my dog the best of care she deserves after all the care she has shown me. Plus, she's an older dog and Pets Best didn't hesitate to cover her!

Disappointed to say the least...

When I initially signed up, I was filled with the ignorant notion that my vet bills would be covered and refunded up to 90%. I walked in blindly, without asking enough questions. The amount of times I spent on the phone, waiting for my call to be connected, i heard the same speech, over, and over again.Emergency costs would be covered up to 90%, and I would get assistance with wellness visits, and vaccines. Ding ding ding! that's why I signed up. I adopted a rescue dog, who was rescued from a high kill shelter. I walked into it knowing there might be issues, and expenses. No worries though, I have insurance to help me. So I pay for the dog, my pet deposit, the visit to the vets, the vaccines, blood tests, fecal tests, more deworming, and then even more deworming. My dog had a total of 4 different types of worms. Round, Hook, whip, and a tape worm. All of this came darn near close to a thousand dollars. I submit my first claim, with great difficulty. They needed me to email pictures of their claim form, and the receipts for my dogs visits. Fair enough... Except for the fact that their Cap email size is 6MB, I had to send 5 emails until I finally got the picture size correct. Then, weeks later and I hear nothing, I call and ask what the hold up is. apparently, they needed another document that I didn't even have, so i had to call the vet and request them to fax it to them. another week passes, and still no word. I call again, and they tell me they never got that document. So I drove over to the vets office, and ask what happened. they faxed it, within minutes of being contacted, and upon my request, faxed again just to be sure. Upon calling again, they tell me they still don't have it... oh, but wait, they do, they just didn't look hard enough. that aside, it took another 2 weeks for my claim to finally go through. the claim I made back in July, has now been sent to me in October. Out of the $560 I put in a claim for, I got $150 back. So much wasn't covered, and vaccines have a $50 annual limit. I thought I asked enough questions when I signed up. turns out, I didn't ask enough, or correctly. It's my fault that I didn't ask the right question, but it's their fault for not explaining further. If you want Pet insurance to help with routine visits, This is NOT for you. this is strictly for accidents, and the once a year rabies shot. If you want my advice, i would suggest taking the $35 a month payment that you would be giving

A SPECIAL SERVICE FOR DOG AND CAT OWNERS

Every once in awhile something comes along you can't believe. Well Embrace turned out to be the real thing. We have submitted several claims and they were paid immediately. It is worth joining. Our vet sends in the form with the proper docs and it seems before I get home that day, Embrace acknowledges they received a claim and will process it as soon as possible. We certainly realized Embrace may not be able to pay for all claims, but the ones we qualify for are paid to us very quickly. Their telephone service is second to none...We are glad to be on their membership list...and you will be too!

ABSOLUTE SCAM! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!

ABSOLUTE SCAM! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE! Found out my Yorkie had Kidney Failure and the only piece of positive news was that I purchased pet insurance about a half a year earlier. After paying out of pocket for all treatments to try and save her life I find out all claims are denied because I took her to the vet a few months before purchasing the policy when she hurt her ankle!! THAT IS NOT A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION!!What's even a bigger SCAM is why did they let me sign up and pay monthly premiums while knowing that they would DENY all future claims?? Furthermore, they kept trying to charge me premiums after finding out my dog had a TERMINAL DISEASE! UNETHICAL LYING CROOKS! I found out today that my dog now has stage 4 kidney failure and needs to go to the ER and be hospitalized at a rate of $1,800 for 24 hours.. if only I was smart and had purchased pet insurance ahead of time *sarcasm*

Best Choice!

I've been so happy that I chose to get Embrace Pet Insurance for my dog -- it's definitely been worth it. My senior dog has had an impacted anal gland and spondylosis, both of which Embrace have been invaluable in treating. I love that Embrace covers alternative therapies, so I can afford to get monthly massages and acupuncture to keep my aging pup as pain free as I can.
