Reliable & Easy

I've had Embrace for 6 months at the recommendation of my vet due to the age of my cat who is 10. I considered cancelling it several times as it seemed a waste, but I'm so glad I didn't because two months after the policy went in to effect, Simon started having spasms and multiple trips to the vet, the hospital, an MRI, and a spinal tap later, and still he was not diagnosed as the problem was so rare. Most of claims were submitted by the clinics and hospitals, which was fantastic as my head couldn't handle the paperwork through the trying times. When things finally settled, I went back through everything with a very patient, very kind customer service agent and found that my claims were all handled and refunds had been automatically deposited into my bank account. Embrace even reached out to confirm my receipt of the funds. Can not recommend them enough. They make this stuff easy so you can focus on your animal.

Wonderful!!

I have a "grand dog" named Bella that is 6 years old and have never thought about purchasing Pet Insurance for her. 2 of a friends dogs were in her backyard and were bit by a snake creating a lot of medical expense at an Emergency Clinic. I then decided to seek the best option for Pet Insurance for Bella and chose Healthy Paws which was the best decision I have ever made. This was in 2015 and Bella had to have surgery on her back leg last year (with PT for 8 weeks) and again on both legs this year. As soon as I sent the claim to Healthy Paws within a week my claim had been processed and the check was on the way. Health Insurance for my family does not process that fast!!!! Also I always receive a follow up inquiring as to how Bella is doing and that the Healthy Paws Team send her "hugs". Bella is a very important member of my family and we want only the very best of care for her. I cannot express how wonderful the Healthy Paws Team has been and I would highly recommend this coverage for your pet.

My new PETFIRST policy is a winner.

My mom has just insured me with PetFirst. Happily I have not had an accident just an itch, but Mom assures me I don't need to worry about expense if I do have a problem. Mom spoke with several different carriers about insurance for me and my siblings. She read reviews, compared coverage, and spoke with my vet. PetFirst received high remarks in each category. Mom was fortunate to have your rep Bobby spend time with her by phone. He answered all of her questions and took the time to go over policy specifics. He gave her quotes for me, and he also gave her quotes for my sister and new brother. Don't Miss the 90 Day Submission Window

If you miss out on the 90 day submission window, they will not honor your claim. My dog's surgery just became $191.40 more expensive because of the money I sunk in to this useless policy.

Healthy Paws is #1 for a Reason - They ROCK!

This is the first time in my life I have ever had to deal with pet surgery and it is very stressful situation. I am so grateful for our Healthy Paws Pet insurance policy that I started the adoption - this is my daughter's cat and they adore each other - so having this insurance meant I didn't have to make a really ugly decision between putting him down or credit card debt. They have been supportive, prompt with claims processing - no grief or we need more information. I highly recommend them if you are looking for the best policy for your pets.

was not happy

I had only owned my dog for a little over a year. The dog had a wellness exam right after taking the Embrace policy. The dog had just turned 6 years old when she got cancer. She was not due for any other tests, vaccines, etc prior to this. Embrace continued to ask for medical records even though they already had what existed from me. I sent e-mails explaining and called numerous times trying to explain there are no other records that I have access to, you have everything. I continued to just get the same scripted mumbo jumbo and they acted as if I was lying or trying to cover something up. My poor dog was barely six and had a terminal form of cancer. Everything progressed so quickly it made my head spin and then to feel as if the insurance I counted on might not pay on a technicality was too much to take. Also when I took out the policy the person on the phone advised it was unlimited coverage, however failed to advise over the period of a lifetime. Then I find out that my dog was only covered for $15,000 per year and that is the maximum that Embrace offers. This too low, especially with catastrophic illness such as cancer, I used up almost $10,000 within a few weeks. If my dog would have lived I would have had to pay out of pocket because the treatments would exceed $15,000 quickly. The overall experience was not very pleasant.

Highly Ethical

I've been a Pets Best customer for at least ten years. Every time I've had a claim, they have paid exactly what the policy states. They also tend to process claims quickly and get your payment to you fast.

Embrace Has Been Great!!!

I have been extremely pleased with Embrace. Our dog had to undergo unexpected knee surgery, and it was such a relief not to have to worry about being overwhelmed by the expense at such an emotional time. Embrace has been very good about acknowledging our claims, sending email confirmations, and then reimbursing. Also, the submission for claims is really quite simple, which is another relief!!I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance--well worth it!! Thank you!!!

Quick claim and great staff.

I am a happy customer who did not know that my deductible was $500., I thought it was $1,000. That being said once I became aware of the lesser amount I put in a claim and the process was simple and I was pleased. I found the staff great to talk with and informative.

Perfect for your puppies, or your more mature dogs

I have insurance through PETS FIRST. i SHOPPED AROUND QUITE A BIT, BUT THEY WERE THE MOST REASONABLE, AND AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS, CONCERNS, ETC. I recently filed my first claim and wanted some help to make sure I had included all necessary documentation. They walked me through the whole thing, with great patience. My dog had been getting up to pee 8-10 times a night and drinking up a storm. As a nurse I knew that this needed to be looked into. I took him to the vet, got all the documentation needed, and sent in the claim. It turned out to be crystals in the urine, which we are still trying to find the most organic way to dissolve them, as he is very medication sensitive. I would highly recommend PETS First!
