Bentley's tail had been injured and was bleeding heavily. Tufts cleaned and bandaged the wound which was rechecked by our regular vet 5 days later. Once the claim was submitted, the check was in the mail 10 days later. I have since changed to direct deposit. I am very satisfied with Pets Best service.

I have had all my pets 10 dogs and 2 cats acquire policies insured with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for about 7 years now. They have proven time and time again to be an excellent insurance company to protect my pets. Healthy Paws paid for my claims many times over. I have an older dog who has rarely had a claim in the six years he has had his policy which was established when he was 8 weeks old. However, this last June 2017 he began having more difficulties breathing and I found out that he needed a surgery on his throat, tongue, and nose. I probably could not have afforded the cost of $2,251 on my own but Healthy Paws came through once again and they issued me a check that saved me $1,976.68 for a surgery. My baby boy most likely added years into his life by going through this procedure. The amount of money reimbursed to me has probably covered just about every penny I paid into his policy over the years!!! In my experience, Healthy Paws Pet Insirance is the best insurance plan in the United States! Several of my dogs have been re-homed and their policies transferred over to the new owners, even several out of state! If you have even one claim for a surgery or major illness in your pets life, your policy would be well worth the investment you will have made to ensure your pet can live a healthy life as long as possible. Less than a week after submitting our claims, we were reimbursed by Healthy Paws, less our copay and deductible, for veterinary care costs totaling almost $12,000. The piece of mind we have had, knowing that we could get our beloved five year old dog, Maggie, treatment without worrying as much about how burdensome the expense was going to be, is immense. This is the first pet we've purchased insurance for and I am now an unqualified believer in its value. Our dear Maggie is recovering from surgery for a pancreatic abscess. It was touch and go and she spent five days in the hospital. I was concerned that going forward we would lose our coverage because of the big claim but Healthy Paws has assured me that future care pertaining to this health condition is covered.
