Good Insurance (treatment + RX) Bad Preventative Care Program
Good Insurance with good coverage at reasonable prices. Coverage of medication cost is good. I use embrace for all my pets and will continue to do so. Unfortunately there is no coverage for anything preventative, they have a wellness rewards program that is a literal money pit so I have never used it. ( explanation below ) You put money into it the rewards program ($450 or $650 per year) and then when you take your pet for grooming/training/preventative care treatments you pay completely out of pocket. Then you submit a wellness rewards claim and they reimburse you. If you purchased the $650 option and you only spend $200 does the money roll over? do they give it back? NO, they keep it, you didn't use it so you lost it, it's theirs now. Summary: Wellness Rewards program is a "budgeting tool", where you lose all money you put in that you didn't use and where you put twice the strain on your wallet. (1st money into the wellness rewards, 2nd money at treatment purchase) Ruling: Get the insurance with Embrace, get RX reimbursement with Embrace, they are really good. Wellness Rewards are useless, if preventative care is your primary concern get your insurance or a budgeting tool elsewhere...

Let me start by saying that I was skeptical of pet insurance in general but I adopted a puppy and wanted to be covered so I went with Embrace. My experience with claims for both routine care as well as ER visits have been seemless and without any hassles. Having Embrace Pet Insurance has taken the worry out of taking my Max to the vet so I can focus on my puppers rather than the cost. Thank you Embrace.

I so thankful for PETSBEST insurance! They have helped me pay for the SO expensive vet bills for breast cancer treatments for my baby girl Princess! so expensive treatments needed to help make here better. THANK God & YOU! Also when my other dog Kenai got sick suddenly PetsBest was there to help me pay for the expensive ER & Virginia tech bills. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread & Kenai went to heaven . I was surprised to receive a condolences card for Kenai from PetsBest signed by each representative!!! Thank you!!

Trupanion has the BEST Customer Service! The Reps are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! All payments to me are very quick and never any hassle. The pet coverage is excellent and rarely is there any question about the claim. I agree with many others who say they wish our health insurance were as easy to deal with.

Best Investment in my Furbaby's Future
As a medical practitioner, I understand the importance of taking care of your health and having health insurance available to provide assistance if needed. One of my patients recommended Healthy Paws to me over six years ago, and it's been the best decision I've made for my dog, Violet. With her breed, I knew that hip dysplasia commonly occurs, and I wanted to be prepared for any medical expenses that could arise. I signed her up when she was between 2-3 years old, and I am so thankful. I would never have expected the medical year we've had. She required multiple procedures, and thanks to Healthy Paws, we could get the critical care without a second thought. The customer service has been outstanding, and they have been so polite and helpful anytime I've called in. Submitting claims is incredibly easy with a quick turnaround as well, other than a few glitches when my camera wouldn't recognize one of the receipts. Violet recently had another medical episode that has been rather heartbreaking and frightening. A few days after one of her treatments, I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how Violet was doing and wishing her the best. I couldn't ask for a better company to have on the side of my furbaby, and I'm incredibly thankful that a patient recommended them to me!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEM!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! I filed my first claim because I had no doubt about the issue and that it would be covered based upon the plan I chose. They denied it, saying there were preexisting issues, so I call my vet and they have no recollection as to why they would think that and deny my claim. The people are rude and we’re no help. I just hope other people don’t make my mistake. I immediately cancelled and spoke with another insurance who was happy to help and agreed with my statements above and how they were false.
