Pre-exisiting conditions
I got health insurance because I need it for my dog. It's unclear what's exactly wrong with her but it appears that anything that has to do with protein in her urine you all won't pay for so I won't pay you high fees. When I spoke with the woman when I signed up for coverage I was led to believe that you wouldn't pay for kidney disease. Both of us were wrong. I signed up for your insurance at the vet where my dog got a comprehensive check up to find out what could be causing the high protein in her urine… So you ruled out any of the possible problems and wouldn't pay for any of it.

Nice staff
Kayla was very nice, and offered to submit appeals for us. Which I did appreciate. Then a supervisor came on at my request and said the denial's would probably not be overturned. None of the records for my pet had been reviewed by the appeals department at the time of this conversation. Leaving me with a feeling of little or no hope of a fair review by your company.
At the start of this process, I submitted claims one day and the very next day I started getting denials. Your company didn't even request updated records from the hospitals we had taken our fur baby to. I spoke with representatives, even a supervisor who said for me to contact the vet hospitals and have the records sent to your company. I asked if that wasn't their job and did I have to do their job for them now, after I had received denial after denial. I feel as though we were paying for nothing, just donating money to your company. This whole experience made me feel like my beloved pet died all over again and then I get "We are sorry that Princess had to visit the vet..." I will NEVER recommend your company to any of my friends. What good did it do for us to pay on time month after month to have our claims denied?
