Unbelievable rate increases
I see I'm not the only one who had to drop insurance with Healthy Pets after many years because of rate increases. In the nine years I was with them, I only had one claim. Then the rate doubled, then tripled. When I asked why, they said it was because I live in an expensive state. I stayed with them because I thought my dog's age meant I had no better options. After the rate increased to $500 a month, I finally dropped them.

Very pleased
My 3 year old "pup" wasn't feeling well…took him to the vet… x-rays, fluids given, meds… pricey bill. Submitted it to Pets Best. Pup still was same next day, veterinarian wanted him better, so she wanted to see him right away. Another injection, more meds, another bill. Submitted that bill immediately. Met my deductible, had two checks from Pets Best a few weeks later. So thankful!

My experience has always been good with Nationwide. I remember the rep saying if I sign up Friday 8/15, then my coverage would start 9/1, but I did not realize that was the deadline. I missed the Sept 1 coverage by only 2 days. :(
