Having reviewed insurances 4 years ago I was skeptical. You pay monthly and over years it adds up... Boy am I happy that I have reconsidered last year! When I tried it first- I realized rhe HUGE benefit of NO More Worry. I used to panic when the dog chewed up something or had any symptoms looking like bloat (bane of Large-dog owners). Within the first year I thought I had to take her to the ER twice. Though both cases were resolved by my ordinary vet, it was a much less stressful experience - I knew that insurance will take care of it, instead of dreading CC debt. And they did cover both cases. The service was excellent - I emailed a question and shortly got a personalized response. The reimbursememt - swift and there were no forms, I uploaded my invoice and was done.

Horrible time first claim with pet best
I have several beloved pets in my life and usually go to UC Veterinary Hospital in Davis. I review several insurances and selected pet best because its affiliation with carecredit. This last has been tremendous help. Sadly this last Dec Veronica got a tumor removal, and jan 1 Bonny got her stomach distended due to gastritis. She was so scared for the fireworks, and she was hospitalized for 1.5 days. I paid the hospital and then I was out of the country for 3 weeks when petbest needed proof of payment, documents I submitted but they questioned. Because it was only me that need to call UC Davis and get a second proof of payment all got delayed. As up today I still getNO news on the tumor removal from Veronica ($569). They emailed several times asking for proof of payment with Bonny and I keep emailing them back that I am out of the country. Today they called and again I complain to them and in fact the agent says that now the 45 days will be longer because I did not send again the proof of payment. I got this insurance because its related to care credit that I am fun off, but if in the first claim since I got the insurance in June I have several problems with 2 claims maybe it is better to find another pet insurance as I want to be taking care of my beloved pets.

I have had Trupanion for a year and had to use it for the first time recently for my mini goldendoodle who was quite sick. I wasn’t quite sure of the whole filing process so I called and was greeted by a very friendly and compassionate woman who helped explain the process. I received immediate feedback and correspondence through the simple process. Even got updates on when they received all documents. I was promptly refunded for the covered part of the bill. I am thrilled with Trupanion. I’m happy to report after a week that my baby boy is much better.

I have had my dog insured with Healthy Paws - they are amazing!
I have had my dog insured with Healthy Paws since the day I brought him home almost 8 years ago and they have been far and away one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. My dog just had his second major emergency surgery, gall bladder removal, which required another multiple day ICU stay and major emergency surgery totaling to a 13k bill. I submitted my claim Saturday the dat after I brought him home and as always the coverage was to a T, almost the entire bill and I was paid out the 80% without question and the money was in my account by that Wednesday! They are amazing and I wish I had them for human health insurance. More than that, they sent a personal email to me asking after Madden and his recovery, as they have in the past after other unfortunate big events he has been through. They truly are the best insurance for pets and I recommend to everyone I encounter with an animal!

So easy and quick!
I purchased Lemonade for our Maine Coon kitten, and we purchased the preventative package for kittens. This includes everything from vet visits to vaccines to spray/neuter. I am extremely happy with Lemonade. I chose Lemonade over other providers because they seemed to be the most comprehensive and laid out everything in such a clear manner, way ahead of its time in pet insurance. The app is excellent, so easy to use and so easy to submit a claim. As soon as you click submit, your claim is approved and the money is immediately transferred into my checking account (by immediately, I mean in seconds). It's nice to have piece of mind that if anything bad happens, Lemonade will protect me from having to spend thousands out of pocket to save out cat. We are so pleased with it, that we switched our other Maine Coon cat from another insurance (our high deductible meant we never were reimbursed for anything) to Lemonade as well (he is 1.5 years old). If you are looking to purchase pet insurance, then I highly recommend.

Great service and peace of mind
I have used Trupanion for my two Pyrenees since I got them 4 years ago. One of them tore her CCL last year and required major surgery. The other tore his CCL this year and just got major surgery. In both cases, the claims I filed were processed and approved within a couple of days. It gives me peace of mind knowing the great service and responsiveness that Trupanion offers and I will keep using them for my pups for as long as they'll have me
