I haven't had any good experiences with this company. My dog was diagnosed with Sterile Nodular Panniculitis. Trupanion denied claim and said it was allergy related. Had to file 2 appeals with help from my dog's Dermatologist. They finally overturned their decision but now say that it will cover treatment for disease but won't cover the Apoquel ( the meds the doctor put her on to treat SNP) and any lab work( the doctor needs to have lab work to check how the Apoquel is affecting her body). My dog was on Apoquel several years ago for Allergies. Trupanion wrote that since she had taken Apoquel before that now it won't be covered. The Apoquel she is on now is to treat her SNP, it is not for her allergies. Medications treat other conditions, not just one condition. So, in essence they aren't covering anything for this disease. I took her in yesterday for recheck for SNP. Nothing was covered according to the email I received from Trupanion. I called today to file another appeal for yesterday's decision from Trupanion. Who knew how stressful trying to get an insurance company to pay a claim is??? Claims are taking longer for payout amounts.

Healthy Paws made an accident stress free and easy!
My niece fed my puppy a handful of raisins and we had to take her to the hospital. Dealing with the potential renal issues was a long stressful process with my pup needing to get blood drawn, levels rechecked, and administered fluid on a daily basis for 3 days. Healthy paws covered 80% of all the costs (policy %) without any question. It was incredibly easy - I just submitted the hospital invoice, claim was approved within 24 hours, and payment was in my bank account a few days later. It made having an emergency incident significantly less stressful knowing I would be reimbursed quickly! They also checked up on her a week later to make sure she was doing okay! Highly recommend healthy paws!

ASPCA Pet Health insurance is…Great!
ASPCA Pet Health insurance is fantastic. We were able to create a plan that worked well for both our dog and our wallet. The entire process of submitting claims is very easy. I find the turnaround time from claim submission to reimbursement is quick. I would highly recommend this insurance to anyone who has pets or is planning on getting a pet.
