Don’t waste your money
It’s not the process but rather the coverage. At $90 a month and after paying for almost almost 5 years without a single claim, you don’t cover an appointment related to a lump? I will never recommend. I doubt you will ever pay a claim. What a rip off. Feel free to contact me however I doubt this will even be read or whether anyone even cares to hear this feedback.

First claim
Unfortunately we filed a claim due to an ear infection. We didn’t want to file the claim. The process was easy. Just hope our premiums don’t sky rocket and increase next year.

Learning Pains
The claim was processed quickly, it is nice to pay what is not approved only to the Vet. It is disappointing Trupanion doesn't pay for the Taxes though, there always seems to be something that is not covered, so although it is beneficial the little surprises not so much. Learning pains i guess.

Need for Direct Pay to Veterinarian's
The claim took a little too long to close out. My pets would be better protected with direct pay to the veterinarian's office but I find this all too often not available. Trupanion should do more to get this into the field. Also, I am finding the rates go up every year which tempts me to look for another carrier.
