Company policy denied my claim
Got a new puppy, signed up for insurance and took the puppy to the vet. Vet determined there was a congenital defect with an eye and it had to be removed. Had the surgery, eye was removed. Because the insurance for the puppy was purchased within 5 days of his first vet appointment when this problem was diagnosed, they refused the claim. They got 1 month of premium out of me but they will never get another cent for this practice. I should have waited a week before taking him to the vet, my fault for not expecting an insurance company to be shady like this.

Please Use Healthy Paws, they are wonderful!
I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. My cat has had a couple of surgeries in the last 3 years. They have always gotten my reimbursement checks to me very quickly (far faster than I would have imagined). The staff there is very kind, they are always asking how my cat is and checking up on us. You really don't see this kind of customer service very often now. Premiums are also very reasonable. It helps so much when you are worried about your pet's health that you can at least know the financial side will be taken care of.

I am very happy with Healthy Paw's pet insurance. It is very easy to submit claims online.The claims review process was way quicker than expected. Thankfully, I didn't need to use them in years, but so glad that I had insurance when my dog had a ccl injury and required surgery.

Healthy Paws is the most awesome pet insurance company ever and I am blessed to have found them for my precious dogs.
I purchased policies for my two puppies 6 years ago from Healthy Paws Insurance, and for the past 6 years they have provided me with the most ultimate coverage ever. The premiums are extremely affordable. A plus is that they offer no caps on lifetime coverage for your pets, which is almost unheard of. . I would never look anywhere else for coverage for my pets. I have found THE BEST. It is a pleasure working with their Team from receptionists to managers. Everyone asks about my dogs by name, and always take time to answer my questions fully. Claims are processed within a couple of days and reimbursement to me is exceedingly fast. I suggest to anyone looking for pet insurance contacts Healthy Paws... You won't need to go elsewhere.

I have had HealthyPaws insurance for my two cats for years. I think their rates are very reasonable and they always send nice notes on their birthdays. Unfortunately this year one of my cats had his first (and hopefully last) major surgery and I had to submit a claim to HealthyPaws. I was honestly skeptical that the process was going to be as easy as they said (call me jaded because of how hard it is to submit healthcare claims for people). After going through the process, I'm happy to report that it really was as simple as they say (maybe simpler). My claim was approved in a timely manner and there were no "gotchas" in processing.

Don't Bother!
After 11 years of paying premiums (over $4,000!) Pets Plus Us denied my very first claim - because my dog's surgery was not the result of an accident (getting hit by a car appears to be all they will cover). What a waste of good money and this company has no compassion whatsoever!

Its very difficult to keep paying money hoping one day you will reap the benefits but you only benefit if the babies are sick which is a horrible thought.
