I have not yet been able to benefit from Trupanion because I recently signed up but what it offers and the prices are quite reasonable and I hope I can benefit when needed in an emergency.

Invoices, medical notes and documents were easily uploaded to Trupanion's portal. I pay a very high premium for Nelson's insurance, I was amazed at how items were not covered.

Can't decide to keep the insurance.
The claim review was quick, I have no fault with that. I'm not sure the value of the insurance for me. There is no coverage or discount for prescribed food, flea & tick, check ups, shots, etc. Only for major issues. I may be better off canceling the insurance and saving the money in my own pet health account. The woman I spoke to one the phone was very friendly and courteous.

Very happy with Pet plus us insurance
Very satisfied with insurance so far. A bit pricy for my puppy Rottweiler though.. But the claim process was easy on Portal. Takes some time to figure out what information exactly needed. But outcome is very satisfying at the end. I advise to send as much info about your pet as possible and also ask to do the same your veterinarian. Otherwise you will keep getting emails that more information required. Overall I very happy choosing Pet plus us . They deliver what promise. Hope our rates not going up crazy. My puppy only 8 month old and it is long way to go with this insurance. Thank you Pet Plus Us for helping my puppy get healthie.

Prompt response was much appreciated. I wish I had realized when I signed up that you did not cover "pre-existing conditions" which occurred within 18 months of signing up -- but then again, that was my fault for not reading the fine print carefully enough. If I were to recommend Trupanion to anyone I would caution the m to READ carefully before signing up.
