Prompt response was much appreciated. I wish I had realized when I signed up that you did not cover "pre-existing conditions" which occurred within 18 months of signing up -- but then again, that was my fault for not reading the fine print carefully enough. If I were to recommend Trupanion to anyone I would caution the m to READ carefully before signing up.

Amazing service and coverage - you are the best. Please forward my response and make this available. I have recommended Trupanion to many pet owners. I received the most wonderful coverage when my sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel have serious heart disease and then died earlier in the year. I never worried about her medications and her coverage. I had total peace of mind for that. I could concentrate on Dezi's condition and how she was doing. I so appreciate Trupanion. I had no idea how much of a difference this would make. Thanks so much, Marilyn

However I am still very unimpressed with the increase in our rates with NEVER MAKING A CLAIM. We have been with trupanion for 3 years, since our dog was 8 weeks old. Very good way to loose low risk customers. Increasing rates based on other dogs claims is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Over $20 increase per month... during a pandemic.... for a completely healthy dog. I have seen tons of clients experience increases of $20-$60 per month, good luck keeping your customers with that business model.

The easiest and best insurance experience!
I'm typically not the type to buy pet insurance. But I tried it and couldn't be more happy! They are so nice and helpful! They don't give you a hard time with the claims and pay doctors instantly! Once claim was approved within 30 second and im not exaggerating! I really love it! I'm 36 and my puppies are 2 and 6 ( they'll always be my puppies lol) I've had it for a few months and will NEVER switch. They've already covered so much with no run around! It was extremly unexpected and a bit scary but my youngest tore BOTH acl's and needed surgery. Thankfully I didn't have to worry about figuring out how to pay so much! I would definitely recommend to anyone. I don't do review often, And this is not a paid review. I'm not getting anything I just really love it!

Couldn't Be Happier!!
I've never had a dog in my life before Luna, so I knew as soon as I got her back in 2017 that I needed pet insurance ASAP. I got her covered when she was 6 months old so she wouldn't have any pre-existing conditions. I read reviews for a bunch of insurance companies online, and I am SO glad I went with Healthy Paws! Every single time I've ever called them, I've been connected to a real person (in Washington!) who has compassionately and fully answered my questions or concerns. The claims process is quick and only ever takes a couple days, and then 90% of whatever is covered is deposited directly into my account. Recently, I got $600 of an over $700 emergency room bill reimbursed, which was HUGE for my peace of mind!! They're transparent about the annual deductible, which thankfully I'd already satisfied, and then they followed up with me personally afterward via email to ask how Luna was and make sure she was okay. The staff is friendly, the claims process is simple and intuitive, and there have never been any surprises in terms of what is or isn't covered. I am so glad I went with Healthy Paws, and I recommend them to all of my friends and family!
