We enrolled when we got our terrier-mix rescue pup in 2013, and have had enough opportunity to benefit from having the coverage that we can say it’s excellent in every respect: multiple ways to tailor the coverage to your particular needs and wallet; easy claims filing online; clear explanations of what is and isn’t covered; fair pricing for coverage (our premium even went down one year!); speedy direct deposit of benefits to our checking account; responsive customer service when we’ve had questions; easily found information on the website - all of it is superbly well done. And we are impressed by the ways in which Healthy Paws contributes to the larger good by donating to and supporting organizations engaged in animal health and welfare. So thankful for Healthy Paws Insurance!
My dog, Brad, just recently had to undergo an emergency surgery. It was a very stressful time for him and myself. As we all know, emergency departments for pets can be very expensive. The whole process of his surgery and recovery was made easier with the reassurance I would be reimbursed for his visit and surgery! The company even reached out to check and make sure Brad was doing okay after his operation. I was reimbursed within a week of his surgery. They provide fast and affordable insurance for my doggo that is so worth it in times like these. Thank you, Healthy Paws!

Formerly happy with Trupanion.
I submitted my claim on 2/6 and it is still pending 11 days later. Also, I just received notification that our monthly premium is getting jacked up next year and I'm not happy. Two people I know use other insurance companies and someday I will switch.

Dylan’s knee surgery
Our vet sent in our claim and we got the check deposited in our account in less than 2 weeks. After our deductible they covered 90% of the cost. Are Dog had a pricey knee surgery. Trupanion is wonderful to work with, I highly recommend them to all pet owners!

Great company with great people
So i have been a Trupanion customer for about 10 years. Throughout my dog's life we have a few claims and the process was always easy and straight forward yet few and far between but always worth it in my eyes. The true test came however, 3 months ago when my best bud was diagnosed with cancer. This was a complete shock as he went from a healthy Cane Corso to a shell of himself virtually overnight. I can safely say that the stress and depression of caring for him towards the end was a lot to handle but Trupanion literally covered all his meds and specialty doctors without even blinking an eye. I truly can't thank you guys enough for making his last days comfortable and taking the financial strain off of us which was quite hefty. I already recommended friend who asked but now i literally tell people they need Trupanion and I again cant thank you guys enough!!

The cost of coverage is easy to recoup given vet costs today. The process is simple. I pay my vet, submit a copy of the invoice to Trupanion and within a few days I'm reimbursed for covered expenses.
