I believe Trupanion is a very reputable company, just had some reservations about pet insurance. Trupanion seems to stack up very well against other pet insurance companies.

I wouldn’t tell a friend to get in with an insurance company that raises the prices almost $12 a month after being with them over 6 years and investing over $8000.
I wouldn’t tell a friend to get in with an insurance company that raises the prices almost $12 a month after being with them over 6 years and investing over $8000. I’m retired and have no choice no but to continue to protect my dog. But believe me if anyone was thinking of getting insurance for their dog I’d tell them what you do years down the road.

The process was professionally handled by the agents we talked to. The product itself is more expensive than the competition, but we felt more comfortable with the coverage offered by Trupanion. Hopefully we never have to make a claim!

Early on I resented the price increases, but am now glad I stayed the course. I realized that as dogs age, they do have increasing health needs. Now my 12 year-old is enjoying the health care he needs. Your payments are prompt and complete. Thank you from our family!
