MOST EXPENSIVE ANIMAL INSURANCE.

My shih tzu has had many health issues, including cancer. Many of the bills from the vets have been very high. If not for Trupanion I don't know if I could have managed to pay for all the treatments she has had and is still having. Thank you Trupanion.

You guys are better than my own health insurance. I can always call, wait time is always low, friendly staff, direct billing thru my vet allows me the freedom to say yes to whatever my pet needs no matter what my bank account says. Adorable pet health that I can count on. Thank you!

Get Pet Insurance (Really!)
I submitted my claim and it was approved within 24 hours. I'm SO glad I got pet insurance. I got it just to be prudent but my 6-month-old puppy has had two very random and very serious (and expensive) issues and Trupanion has saved me literally thousands of dollars in unexpected and unplanned for bills.

Fantastic service!
Max, our little Chinese Crested mix, was suffering. The Vet diagnosed pancreatitis. His treatment costs were significant. Trupanion covered a large portion of the bill and Max is recovering nicely. We couldn't ask for a better outcome. Thanks Trupanion!

Great service and coverage but terrible price hikes!
We lost our mastiff after 5 yrs. cost started at $65 and ended at $151 a month! $9 annual price hikes reasonable but then $30 hikes especially during covid! They paid all the claims timely. Now our new Frenchy would only have 70% instead of 90% coverage so on to a new one

Easy claim process and quick reimbursement
I've had Healthy Paws for my Frenchie since I brought him home as a puppy. I found their rates to be very competitive and their plans comprehensive. Healthy Paws gets high marks for ease of making claims, it literally takes minutes on the app, as well as very timely reimbursements, sometimes same day for small claims. Recently my Frenchie had surgery for a disk herniation which was our first large claim. HP reviewed it and the check was sent 3 weeks later, thus I was very pleased with their responsiveness. They even emailed me checking on how he was recovering. The only thing is my Frenchie will be 6 years old, and there were some significant premium rate increases in the last couple years, and I'm concerned it will happen again after the recent large claim. It is quite possible that this is common with many pet insurance plans, so something to consider.
