I hit my deductible of $1000 and on my next claim $45 went towards the deductible.
I hit my deductible of $1000 and on my next claim $45 went towards the deductible. When I asked they said the deductible is "per condition". That is unacceptable.

Trupanion is the only reason I've been able to continue the ongoing care for my senior dog.
Trupanion is the only reason I've been able to continue the ongoing care for my senior dog. Without the insurance I wouldn't be able to afford the continuous care and medication for him. I have it on my younger dog and encourage everyone to get it.

Great Experience So Far
When I noticed blood in my dog's urine a couple months ago, I assumed it was a UTI. We've since learned it's bladder cancer, and we initially expected the worst. Fortunately, he is in the very rare portion of dogs with bladder cancer whose primary tumor was in an operable location. It has been such a blessing to be able to capitalize on his relative luck with high-quality veterinary treatment and have the potential to keep him with us for years instead of the months we were initially told to expect! We're very grateful to have him insured with Healthy Paws. The reimbursement process has been so easy (and quick!), and it has been a huge relief to be able to direct my focus and worry to his health rather than the treatment expenses.

Zero problems with my claims
Ever since signing up with this company years ago in Ontario, Canada, I have always had honest, straightforward service with honest answers. My claims were taken seriously and I was paid back within a month on every one. I recommend this agency to all of my friends and colleagues, because it's clear and there are no hidden fees or nonsense at claim time. All three of my dogs are covered and it isn't breaking the bank. Go for it.

Amazing!!
If you don't have Trupanion... You need to get it now. This is an amazing company. I didn't have insurance when I had my previous dachshund and my vet bills were through the roof. When I decided to add a new addition to my family our vet suggested Trupanion. I'm so happy and relieved that I did. My mini dachshund had to go to emergency and then right into emergency surgery. It was so scary and very very expensive. I filed a claim with Trupanion and after their review process I was notified that they would pay me 90% of the total cost!! I couldn't believe it. You need Trupanion. I'm so grateful that I do.
