Best decision ever to get insurance
Trupanion is the best - I always tell people how glad I am to have Trupanion cover my Jack -he is a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier , and had surgery on both legs - when he was about 3 years old - and with Trupanion we can afford to give Jack the medical care he deserves - Thankyou Trupanion - we are so happy we are with you

Second Thoughts
I made my first claim and Trupanion is already trying to find a loophole to not pay so I am not sure if I will be keeping it. I figured it was a scam, but wanted to try it.

I would recommend any one that ask me to shop around. I tried to cover all my basis in looking for a pet ins for my 2 dogs. Personally I think a lot of this is a racket!!! I talk to someone before my dogs had this surgery and it sound like it should be covered Unfortunately you have us by the tail(no pun intended) and we need to carry pet insurance but it doesnât seem consumer friendly

Not happy initially ok now
I think the deductible should have included the original testing which was over $300. Now I have sending receipts for medications which makes me wonder why I have the insurance

Canât thank Trupanion enough
I was distraught over the fact my pup had to even have these services (upper and lower GI), much less how we were going to be able to afford the cost. Thanks so much to Trupanion! Your claim service and direct deposit turnaround was so quick, I had the payment before the bill was due. I canât tell you how relieved we were. It made it so much easier to focus on the health of our pup.
