We are pensioners on a fixed income and we are very pleased that we chose Trupanion when we got our puppy. It has helped us enormously. Trupanion customer service team has been excellent. We are referring Trupanion to all of our family and friends.

Good experience, best coverage
Good customer service. Jasmeen Cavalli helped sign me up and she was super helpful. The insurance seems like it is good. I like that your premiums do not increase based on your pet's age. I also like that the deductible is per condition, but I wish that there was a yearly max or something like that in case you have multiple conditions in a short time period. Its also tricky that you cannot lower your deductible or add the riders after 30 days. It would be nice if you could do this once a year or something like that. 30 days is also a long wait period for your coverage to begin. The premiums are also a bit higher than most other companies, but I am hoping it will be worth it long term. I also like that Trupanion can pay your pet directly. It is also nice that customer service is there 24/7 in case you need them.

Great experience signing up. My customer service representative was extremely knowledgable and took the time to answer all the questions I had. Even during the registration process, still continued to answer my questions and give guidance where he could. I hope I never had to use Trupanion, but if I do, hopefully I will have the same experience.

I was very pleased to have trupanion.Our shitszu was really sick in icu hospital for 7 days ,we almost lost him twice during his stay.He had 5 transfusions during his stay.His gust for life is unblieviable.Each day he is starting to be more like himself.Iwas so greatful we had trupanion the cost was enormous but we only paid 10% for our love.

From Vomiting and Lethargic to THRIVING!
I carefully researched numerous pet insurance companies and tried to find all the fine print to carefully compare. Finally, I settled on Trupanion for several reasons: 1. For any new particular medical need that arises, such as chronic kidney disease that our Libby developed, we pay the first $500, then Trupanion covers 90% of all treatment and medications needed FOR THE REST OF LIBBY'S LIFE! There will be no additional co-pay requirements when the year ends as with other companies. (Check the fine print of other companies for that!) 2. For any particular medical need, there is NO CAP! Trupanion will not stop paying 90% of the medical bills for the life of our pet, Libby! Most companies I researched listed dollar figures for CAPS, the maximum amount they will pay for a particular need. 3. Additional add-on: for a little more we purchased an optional coverage package that adds certain treatments that could be beneficial. We placed zero claims until Libby was 8 years old and suddenly showed signs of an illness. She started vomiting and became lethargic so quickly! It turned out to be chronic kidney disease and we feared she might die! She was lethargic and like butter in my arms! After several nights in the emergency hospital, she stabilized and we brought her home. Now she is on a special diet, supplements, and receiving acupuncture treatments (covered by the optional coverage package we added). The medical bills have really added up for this 1 illness but Trupanion made it very manageable because they are covering 90%, AS PROMISED! Libby is THRIVING and we are beyond thrilled! Any pets we have in the future will be covered by Trupanion! Linda, (Libby's Mom)

Everything has been so easy to deal with! Whenever I call, I get super helpful people like Noelle! Iâve never had pet insurance before because I didnât really think it was necessary. Well, after I spent thousands of dollars on my last dogs health problems, I decided to get insurance on both of my newly adopted puppies. I am so glad I did! It gives me peace of mind and I know I chose the right insurance company for my babies! I highly recommend Trupanion!
