We have had dog insurance through PetsPlusUs since Enzo was 12 weeks old - so he had a clean slate medical record. We opted for the higher coverage with a low 10% copay and $100 yearly deductible. I recently made a claim for the first time and was extremely pleased at how streamlined the process was and how quick the reimbursement occurred. One thing I really like about PetsPlusUs is that they cover basically everything - including the diagnostic exam! I’m so thankful we chose this insurance provider and I would highly recommend choosing this insurer especially if your pup is young and hasn’t had any vet visits for previous issues (as these will be an exclusion in the policy which most people don’t understand and then later get mad when it’s not covered).

Our beloved Goldendoodle was diagnosed with lymphoma this summer at the age of 8 1/2. She has been receiving chemo treatments for the past 5 months that have saved her life! I don't know what we'd do without our insurance, as our bills will exceed $10,000 and we've paid a fraction of that. The claims process is very easy and I've received reimbursement into my bank account typically within 2 days.

Great, efficient, affordable service
When I adopted my rescue pup, I wanted to get insurance since he's little and could very easily be hurt by a large dog, car, etc. I hadn't had any major issues with him in the first couple years, but then he decided to eat a large amount of plastic a couple of weeks ago, which required surgery to extract. HealthyPaws quickly approved and reimbursed my claims within just a few days of me submitting invoices and medical records! It was a very easy process, and the cost of coverage is reasonable, especially compared to some other plans I looked into. I have recommended HealthyPaws to several friends! (And my baby is doing very well; I doubt he learned any lessons from this, but I sure have!)

Definitely the easiest pet insurance company I've worked with. Claims get processed super quickly and with minimal fuss. Easy to understand premiums and limitations. I've had multiple claims paid out quickly and they don't needle you or try to wriggle out of claims (looking at you, Lemonade)
