Furkin covered my $8000 bill
My poor pup broke her leg jumping off a couch and the vet said she would need surgery and would have to wear a splint for 4 weeks. Iâm so glad I got insurance because the total cost came out to just under $8K and Furkin covered 80% of the cost. Well worth it and super thankful we have it or it would have been a very tough expense for me.

Better Life for Doggy Daddy
This is my 5th dog to be insured thru Nationwide, the first that isn't a boxer, a breed that tends to require extra veterinary care. In all cases, knowing that insurance coverage was in force decisions to treat or not to treat was based on what was best for the dog, not how much I would be willing to spend. Having it has made the quality of life better for both dog and human!

I guess I am very happy with Trupanion.
I guess I am very happy with Trupanion. Easy to deal with, employees are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint is that 9 years ago my insurance for Chevy Chase started at like $9 a month and now his premium is like $77 a month. You have me over a barrel. I just wish the rates didn't raise so much over the years. I will be honest. We got a 2nd dog 3 years ago and decided to go the Bivvy route for insurance - yes it doesn't cover near as much but it is so cheap - we decided to just put $30 a month into a dog vet savings account for her and pray that we don't ever need it. Aqain your service and coverage have been good for these 9 years but so hard to afford $77 a month. Thank you and have a great day! Trent

The representative was awesome. The lack of a rating of 10 was the encouragement to sign up before revealing the cost of the insurance.
