Ear infection
Mandy gets yeast infection all the time so I have lots of vet bills. Pets best insurance is easy to submit an invoice and normally have a EOB within 3 days and a check in 10 days. Very happy with how my claims are paid. Very worth having the insurance.
Pets best look somewhere else
Claims easy to file but payment back is like 20% will be looking at different insurance
Our dog will eat ANYTHING!
"Our 2 1/2 year old Pit Mix is a wonderful dog and a blessing in our lives. However, she is always looking for something to eat....ANYTHING. She swallowed a tennis ball and required stomach surgery. There weeks after the incident, I had received my check for the insurance amount due to the penny. No hassles or stalls, just the check. Purchasing Pet's Best is the smartest decision I have ever make. Mike"

Nothing is ever eligible - total waste of money
It doesn't seem to matter how long I've had my policy, all of my claims are always denied for some reason or another. Seems like EVERYTHING is a preexisting condition or not within the timeframe of the policy.... For me it's been a total waste of money. I could have paid for almost everything with the money I've spent in monthly insurance payments.

This insurance is a joke
I filled a claim (over $300) Most of the insurance payment went to deductible and co-payment. I am receiving $15. We pay over $50 per month. I will be canceling.
This is a warning from a member with 4 pets over 10+ years
This is a warning from a member with 4 pets over 10+ years I have been a menber with Nationwide pet insurance when it used to be VPI pet insurance. I had a plan that was grandfathered in which was 90% covered with no CAP (this means no matter the treatment they covered the full cost) They tried to push me out by raising the cost the that plan year after year so I played ball with them and dropped it down to 70% covered with no CAP. They always stress to insure the animal since they were a puppy or kitten so everything can be covered through their life without any exempt. So this year they decided to write me that they are canceling my policy becuase the cost to them are too high to cover his plan even though they havent offered this plan in over 7 years and I was grandfathered in. I was told they will move me to the 70% plan and a 10k cap so if my animals had any thing serious over 10k i had to put the money up. Or other wise I can go kick rocks. Even though I have been paying over 10 years of premiums for 4 animals and they were so selfesh and could wait maybe another 5 years until all the grandfathered customer fur babies passed and crossed the rainbow bridge. Instead this $60.3 billion dollar in sales for 2024 company decided to be selfish and not cover and honor the pet plans they gave customers. Its really sad and disgusting that they used the phrase they are loosing money as an excuse to hurt theese animals. I will say over the past 10 years nationwide has been amazing with quick payouts and customer service. But that dose not fix how they handled this selfish situation.

DO NOT USE PETS BEST
I paid my premiums and our claim was denied on a technicality. It's all too often we are seeing this in healthcare for people as well as with pets. I would absolutely NOT recommend Pets Best.

I almost lost Him
I'm 84, and Wee Willy is my constant companion. His legs started giving out, and I knew he was in pain, so I considered having him put to sleep. Dr Wubben asked if I could try therapy, and without insurance, the answer would have been no. I didn't know how much would be covered, but I thought I would take whatever was offered and be grateful if there were a chance. PetsBest covered around 75% of the bill. I was shocked. Taking out insurance on Wee Willy was the best thing I've done for my fur baby.
