Thank you Healthy Paws !
We are so thankful for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance ! We’ve been using them for the past 9.5 years for our Bernese Mountain Dog who will be ten in May! We credit his longevity to Healthy Paws as he’s unfortunately required multiple surgeries over the years. Healthy Paws has stood by his side each time and we are so grateful for them. We love our pup so much and we are so thankful Healthy Paws does too. Cannot recommend them enough!

Vet bills stack up fast. Last year I lost my other cat, and the last thing I wanted to worry about during that time was the bills. This year my other cat got sick, and knowing I was covered just took so much of that extra stress off so I could focus on the important stuff. Submitting my claim in the app was super quick and easy, it was approved faster than I expected, and the explanation of benefits left me with no questions. This was my best Grownup Decision yet! By the way, go for the higher premium. $60 a month for a $250 deductible is absolutely the move. I hit my deductible as soon as the doctor ordered labs. 100% worth it.

Great Experience
Having a diabetic cat is a rollercoaster of emotion and care needs. I am truly grateful for Pets Best Pet insurance. I bought a policy when I adopted my now 15 year old cat at the age of 18 months. When he was diagnosed as diabetic 8 years later, Pets Best was there for us and continues to process claims effiently and with care and understanding. Premiums have naturally gone up, due to his age, and increased costs overall but it is still worth the peace of mind!
Great insurance - consistent and quick!
I have had healthy paws insurance for my dog for 6 years now and have been very happy with it. It has been easy to submit claims, and just in the past year or so, they've updated their interface on the app so that it's even easier and faster. While I used to get claims completed in a couple days, recently it's been completed even within the same day. I like that there are options to different plans (I do wish there were more) and would be great if they covered specialist appointments, but overall, I have been pleased with it and would recommend it to any pet owner.

"All insurance policies are needlessly too complex to fully understand, and too much is left to the subjective opinion of the insurer, rather than the considered opinion of the doctor. That said, I pay a small gortune to get the highest coverage gor my two dogs, and Pets Best has proven to be as responsive and, fair as any other pet insurance I have tried over many years. So, I can recommend them : )
A huge scam and get ready for games
The amount of claims they pay adds up to less than 10% of the premium you pay each year. So why would anyone pay them all this money to still cover 90% of their own expenses and what have $600+ a year burning a hole in their pocket?

Started Off Great, Now a Complete Scam
We had embrace for years. We moved cities and they changed our premium by over $200. We have been previously approved for Physical Therapy for our dog with hip problems and they have now changed the policy so that you have to be in a building with a vet. They have done everything in their power to remove benefits, refuse claims and continue to increase the prices.

Getting a Pets Best insurance policy on our puppy when we got her has been one of the best decisions we made. It has helped us be able to provide outstanding vet care for her despite trying times. Having this policy on her allows us to let her live life to the fullest without extra worry about how we would pay for a surgery should the need arise.
TRUPANION IS A SHAM
Today I cancelled my pet insurance policy with TRUPANION. I have been paying monthly premiums for my northern breed dog since he was a puppy. He is now almost 17. Over the years, the premiums have increased from time to time. I think I was originally paying around $35 and now it is up to about $69. Not too bad for a 17-year time span. Fortunately, Sammy has been an overall healthy dog and I can count on one hand the number of claims I have submitted over the years. Of course, because the deductible is "per disease", I have received $0 in payouts. This past week, I received a notification from Trupanion stating that my monthly premium was being increased from $69 to $94. THAT IS A 35% INCREASE! Now, when my pet is old and I really need the insurance, they force a 35% premium increase. When I called to complain I was told that "the cost of veterinary care has increased." As a veterinarian, I am well aware of this fact but NO WHERE have costs increased by 35% in one year. TRUPANION is a sham of a company, ripping off pet owners who are already struggling to provide medical care to their pets. They are an embarrassment to to the veterinary profession. Please boycott this company and tell your friends to do the same.
