Superb coverage
PetsBest was referred to me by my podiatrist. The premiums were reasonable, but like all other companies, each year costs go up. My dog had to have 2 6 session water therapies, which was phenomenal Each 6 session costs a little over $300.00 totaling $600.00. My coverage with PetsBest reimbursed me 80% after 20% deductible. So, after deducting 130.00 I was reimbursed $500.00. Can't beat that!
Reimburse
I have had this insurance for at least 12 years and have several dogs on it. Previously things were wonderful. I received my reimbursement in a timely manner. I got the most expensive policy and until lately I praised Healthy Paws to everyone. I have been very happy until lately. I have submitted two claims and I will be submitting another one very soon. One was submitted in January and the other one in March. I have not received a reimbursement check on either one. I have called and of course it’s somebody different in a different place. For my January submission I was told it was approved but never got where ever the checks are printed. It was spooked to be corrected and here I am almost 4 months later still waiting. I had submitted another one in March but was told they didn’t have record of that. What is going on there.? My premiums are very expensive. I would appreciate a response to this since I can’t talk to anyone that can help. Because of this I have given a very low rating.

Trupanion surgery
I have had my dog insured with true opinion since he was just under a year old I have not had to really use the insurance until this year when a liver mass was found. He needed a CT scan and surgery, which was going to cost around $11,000. The specialty hospital works directly with Trupanion so I did not have to wait to be paid out. and they covered 90% of the surgery.. so it paid for itself in one procedure.

Our Dog is Alive Because of Pets Best
My dog suffered a serious injury which affected his ability to walk, and to have a good quality of life. The cost of the surgery was thousands of dollars. Where most people would have to say goodbye to their pet because of the cost, we didn't. We didn't even have to consider it. Our dog had two surgeries and is on his way to a better life and PetsBest reimbursed us within 2 weeks both times. We have had Pets Best for our pets for years and we are so grateful the only choice we had to make about our dog's injury was what day to get his surgery. THe claim process is so simple, the communication during the process is consistent and the rates are affordable. We have 7 pets covered by Pets Best and its the BEST decision anyone can make when it comes to caring for your pets.
Easy and prompt
They reimburse us promptly and take a lot of the stress out of the visit to the vet. Its nice to make decisions based on what's best for the cat and not finances.
Awful company
Awful company. Downgraded my policy without my consent, screwing my dog over at the end of her life. I don’t know how these people sleep at night, knowing that they hurt people and their Innocent pets.

Easy Claims Process
After my dog sustained a cut behind the ear, we went to our wonderful emergency vet. The bill, however, for minor surgery to repair his ear was higher than we expected. Thank goodness we had Pets Best, as it eased our financial worries that day. After reimbursment a short while later, I felt very satisfied with our policy and so happy that our dog's incident did not create a stressful financial situation. Thank you, Pets Best!

We are so happy that we went with Pet's Best. We chose coverage for accidents and couldn't be happier with the price for coverage. It's even better than my discounted insurance from employer. Great claims service and processing
I've used healthypaws for my dog, Zeke, and for my last Dog, Donovan. Their rates are competitive, but that's not the only important thing. Sadly, I have had several claims with my dogs. healthypaws has the easiest and most efficient processing and user-friendly platform. I only wish the claims process was as easy when I have my own health issues.
A must have!
I would always cover my pets with insurance. We have had some emergencies with 5 dogs. I don’t hesitate to get them veterinary care for emergencies and routine care. It’s expensive with 5 dogs being covered but it is peace of mind for this dog mama.
