Best recommendation!
I have had Healthy Paws Insurance for my dog for nearly 2 years. My dog just recently had a torn ACL (a CCL in dogs)--this was major surgery. I was in awe at how fast ( within 2 weeks) I was refunded from Healthy Paws. They covered 80% of a nearly $6000 surgery. They directly deposited the money into my account with no problem. Then they send me an email asking how he's doing. I am so grateful this company was recommended to me by a friend!

The right choice
I searched many pet insurance companies online and reviewed many quotes. Pets Best was the perfect fit for my budget. It has several options to choose from to suit your needs and budget as well. The claims process is so easy and only takes a minute or two to submit. They provide quick status updates until your payment is delivered. It took a total of 4 days from start to finish for me. I highly recommend!
Pets best is the worst
We paid for premium coverage and they only paid $150 of a $980 bill for getting our dog neutered. My understanding was this procedure was %100 covered. Do not use this provider, they take over 60 days to pay out often with no exploration of the payout. Use embrace instead
Pets Best is the best in insurance coverage for your pet
"Pets Best is the first pet insurance I have ever had and I am so pleased with their service. Sadly my sweet kitty has been diagnosed with a heart murmur which means lots of vets visit and lots of vet bills. Pets Best makes this situation so much better, easy on line filing process and a fast claims processing with a direct deposit into my bank account. Very simple and easy to understand. It gives me piece of mind to know I will have help with my vet bills so I can put all my focus on taking care of my sweet kitty cat,"
Horrible Filing Claims
I had met life for over a year and insured my 4 cats under them. In that one year I went to file a single claim for $148 for my cat who had an eye infection. My vet is amazing and this is not a review on my vet they are amazing. They gave me the typical sheet that they print out with all the costs and breakdown of the treatment. I took a picture and uploaded it to met life. They denied my claim stating they need a doctor's written notes on them, which the vet office has never heard of. The chart was very straight forward they examined my cat's eye, did a stain to check for scratches, and gave me antibiotics. I tried re-uploading it, denied again. The vet office does not have any other paperwork to give me then what they gave me. Will never use this again, I was paying over $120 a month to keep this pet insurance and have a good deductible and am completely over it.
Excellent insurance company for my dogs
Fast processing, good communication . Coverage is excellent and is a good value. I don't have to worry about getting excellent care for my precious dogs
good insurance
Ive been very pleased with the claims I have sent to the insurance for Karlie. They have really helped me afford her upkeep on her health and dental care.
Put Your Money in a Savings Account Instead
I have had my dog insured through Pets Best for approximately 7 years. In the first few years my claims were reviewed promptly and reimbursed partially. While I wasn’t thrilled with only partial reimbursement, it made sense with deductibles and let’s be honest, our dogs run into problems on their own timelines that never match our convenient ones. Now that I have a senior dog, my claims have taken almost two months to be reviewed and subsequently denied. Pets Best has had to “request medical records” from my vets office and stated they were never sent. Asked me to inquire, which I did just for Pets Best to say they never received them. This led to my claims being denied. My senior dog cracked a tooth on a bone (this is what the vet told me) which led to a tooth infection. I treated the infection first, then took her to a different vet (this office didn’t do extractions) to have it looked at. This vet said it had to go, or risk another infection. I asked that they clean her teeth while they had her under for the extraction. I had been doing non anesthetic cleanings because I didn’t want my senior dog put under. I submit my claim and almost two months later have my first expensive claim completely denied stating that it was periodontal disease which is not covered because I did not have her teeth cleaned under anesthesia in the last 13 months. If they would have attempted to contact me or my vet at any point during this review, it could’ve easily been explained. This company is looking for a reason to deny your claims. To add insult to injury, immediately after denying my claim, I got a letter stating they are increasing my monthly premium to $200 due to my pets age and just general use of modern medicine to treat dogs being on the rise. Don’t give this company free money. Put it in a savings account. I was told I could dispute the claim denial. I’m SURE I will be able to have an unbiased review of that claim after my policy cancellation….hah.
Pets Best: Smart, simple, economical pet insurance
I knew having pet insurance was the smart thing to do for my rescue spaniel mix. After doing some research, I chose Pets Best for their variety of options and competitive pricing. Easy to select the plan I wanted. It was a plus that they integrated with my Care Credit account, which I use at my vet all the time. When I submitted my first claim, I thought it would take a couple of weeks. My dog saw the vet on Tuesday for a wellness exam and Rx refill, I submitted the claim later that day, and my reimbursement was applied to my Care Credit account on Friday! No confusion, no hassle, so simple and seamless! Great service, highly recommended.

Great experience
The only reason I don't give them a five is because of the annual increases, and I had a doubling increase last year. Other than the increases, I've had a good experience
