This is my 6th dog (only 1 at a time) but my first to be insured. Met Life is a great insurer. Payment is quick and easy. I am very pleased with this policy.

Yes, Healthy Paws made my life just a little easier during a very difficult time. My beloved "Lambeau" had been dealing with cancer - and fighting like a little champ - for several years. I'm SURE Healthy Paws "lost money" on our account, as Lambeau's bills (medications/surgeries) had to be over $50,000. I ended up paying only about 20% of that amount, and the premiums while high, never compared to what Healthy Paws covered. When Lambeau passed, the team at Healthy Paws was sweet, comforting, and made sure to close my account, so I wasn't billed for an additional month - while continuing to send reimbursements for her final vet bills. I'd highly recommend Healthy Paws for these reasons.
Big Mistake!
I have had nothing but problems with this company. Prices go up every year. It has gone up 4x the amount and I have a healthy 4 year old dog. Finally decided to cancel and I feel SO relieved. This is after finding an unauthorized charge on my credit card. Fetch claims this was a seperate tax charge. Never in my life has any company charged seperately for taxes so I beleive this is a lie. My main issues are lack of responsiveness and slow communication. I've spent hours waiting for responses from agents that don't seem to know what's going on.

Pro: 1. A human answers the phone. You do not have to wade through numerous phone prompts. And not a call center from overseas. 2. They’re efficient and process the claims in a timely manner. 3. They check in every so often to tell you the status of your claims and are kind when you call about it. 4. They are straightforward in what the cover. 5. From social media, they appear to treat their employees well. Con: 1. My deductible rose dramatically. I think we started at a couple hundred and are now at a $1,000 (already met). Worth it when you own a cavalier. And likely standard in the insurance industry? I don’t know. I highly recommend Trupanion.

Better no insurance than to go with PETS PLUS US
Sounds great, but when you really need them, they find some exclusionary clause, and then you're left with the vet bills anyways; plus the frustration and disappointment of your having gotten involved with PPU in the first place!. If you really want or need pet insurance, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. And if you're a Costco member, done't be fooled into thinking you're getting a good deal through Costco, in fact you can usually find better pricing through other channels. Surprised Costco associates its brand with this provider.

I highly recommend Pets Best!
Direct deposit is super convenient. I've never had a problem with claim processing. They set me expectation for processing delays then paid me 48 hours later. I like the flexibility of coverage and deductible to help manage monthly premium costs. And I love that my deductible applies to the full calendar year rather than individuals incidents! I know there are lots of choices for pet insurance, but we came to Pets Best several years ago after a less satisfactory experience with another company, and I've never had a single regret. We've also taken advantage of the 24/7 televet service a few times and found it very helpful. I think it's great that Pets Best includes that service at no additional cost. I highly recommend Pets Best!

If I could give you a 0 or no stars at all I would! I waited two hours to get a quote from you and the vet and when I received it, it showed the majority of it "not covered" What the hell am I paying you almost $100 every single month and when I need coverage for my pet you covered $49 out $300 bill!!!! $49 coverage??? Is that fair to you fucking idiots that don't give a crap on anything other than your own fucking pockets. What kind of fucking scammers are you? You are not helping pets and pet families! You are helping your own fucking pockets!! Shame on you and all your stupid services. People are completely crazy to waste their money on you garbages!
