Great and quick service
I got pet insurance for my Bernese Mountain dog because I heard stories from other owners about how prone this breed is to injuries or to eating foreign objects and needing surgery. I never thought I’d have to use it because my dog got hit by a car. In a very stressful time, I was worried my experience with Embrace would be like my experiences with car insurance, home insurance, etc. I was glad to find it was NOTHING like my other bad experiences. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They say claims can take 10-15 days but it only took 3 business days for them to start reviewing/accepting my claims. It doesn’t feel like they’re just trying to make money off of you, it feels like they are happy to be able to help provide healthcare for your pet. They’re able to explain to you exactly why your premium is what it is, and I really appreciate that transparency. I highly recommend pet insurance for everyone, but especially insurance through Embrace.

The Nationwide policy with well-care is comprehensive and the premiums are reasonable. Processing is easy and thorough. Claims reimbursement is a breeze with Chase Bank.

Set Fees Too Low
The fees for different medical problems are too low for what vets charge. Additionally, there are many medical conditions Nationwide doesn't cover, which are not listed on their Website. You have to wait until you get your policy along with the printed list of conditions not covered.

Due to low coverage rates, I find that I need to review all claims for accuracy regardless of whether or not it is needed.
While I find that claims are made in a timely fashion and seemingly in line with the scope of benefits, the coverage is lower than I would have expected given the premiums. I find myself reviewing all EOBs for accuracy. Again, I have not found issues but am always surprised how low the coverage is. I have had Nationwide for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it! . I work at a dental office and deal with insurance companies on a daily basis. I see insurance denying claims for no reason, and patients having to pay out of pocket along with the premiums, so I went in with very low expectations. I have never had a claim denied, ever! In fact, it has been such an easy process and my claims get paid very quickly. If only other insurance companies could get on board with nationwide and the way they treat their insured. I have had to call with some questions here and there and am always greeted professionally and respectfully. They are super helpful every time. I have referred my brother for his dog and my good friend and they also really love it! If you are looking for pet insurance, look no further. You won't be sorry with Nationwide.

Chubby, under this insurance is so healthy. He just had his teeth clean, thank you for the coverage, by the way, and though he did have to have one extracted, his overall health is GREAT. I feel so blessed to have this coverage, and feel confident that under this current coverage, he will be with us a very long time.

This insurance policy takes almost all of the stress out of going to the vet
I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance for our dog. I figured we were past the expensive puppy years and since she is relatively healthy, the cost may outweigh the benefits. I am so glad that we decided to pull the trigger on it last year. It has allowed us to give Luna the absolute best care each and every time we go to the vet. She had been having some issues with her shoulder and this policy made the decision to take xrays a no-brainer. She needed to have her teeth cleaned for the first time and the cost was perfectly manageable. I love knowing that I won't ever have to weigh cost when I am factoring care for her. The claims process is simple and customer service is great. We looked at virtually every policy on the market before deciding on Nationwide and I couldn't recommend it more highly.
