Embrace's online claims process is very easy to navigate, with fast and fair adjudications.
I have had Embrace for three years and have always had positive experiences with them. The claims process has always been simple and efficient, and the Embrace staff has always processed the claims within a couple of days. I also like that you can pull up your claims history and review the details of each claim, including how much remains of your deductible. Of course, with the deducible and then the 20% (or whatever you've chosen in your plan) co-pay, your pet has to have a pretty bad year for you to get the benefit of Embrace paying for vet bills. That said, I continue to pay the premiums because if there was a catastrophic need, like a car accident injury or cancer, I don't want to have to worry about paying for expensive treatment if. That peace of mind is worth the price of the premium!

My Premiums Have Skyrocketed!
We have had great success with Trupanion. We've never had a bad thing to say until now. Our premiums have jumped from $58.00 per cat (we have three) to $121.00 per cat. We've raised our deductible now to $300.00. I question if it's better to just save money each month and ear-mark it for our cats' medical treatments, similar to a medical flex-account for people. I used to always recommend this company, but for now, I'm not sure. For now, we'll stay with Trupanion. Prior to this however, they've been superb.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is Chicken Soup for Puppy-Moms.
Having insurance for our monster (2-yr old puppy in disguise) is one of the most comforting aspects of my complicated life. I don't have to think twice if she swallows a stick, twists her leg chasing Alice down the rabbit hole, or just seems listless. There's no need to analyze the budget, no debating about having something checked out. In 2 years, Nationwide has come through every time. Not payment in full but a close second, and enough to keep Ms. Doobs as safe and healthy as possible. Yeah!

So happy I invested in this plan
Had a dog previous to this one, which didn't have insurance coverage. I can not even begin to tell you how much $$$ spent. I also truly believe that I would still have my dog if I had gotten her the Whole Wellness plan at birth. Now my new adopted fur baby is full covered. I paid the deductible and with some minor deductions 90% has been paid on everything. Timely payments and never have I waited for reimbursement more then 3 weeks. Huge Thumbs up!

Six Dogs - Still the best money I could spend to keep them healthy.
With six dogs in my family, insurance can get expensive. I kept track of all healthcare money spent and the benefits paid for a year. The result - I SAVED money. Of course, I had a couple of dogs with sport related injuries - and they got the very best care. I would charge the Vet bills, file my claim and it was paid before I got the credit card bill. The key is to understand what you are buying. All my dogs have Nose to Tail Whole Dog insurance. If you buy a more limited plan lower price plan, you get less - less covered services, less allowed payment amounts. Just Like Human Insurance! In my opinion - Nose to Tail is the way to go.

The best!!!
If it weren’t for Nationwide, I would never feel as comfortable as I do to take my dog to the vet. In the past I couldn’t afford all of the vet bills, and now I can. Thank you, Nationwide!

They stand by there name "EMBRACE" in every aspect of the company
As a family of seven including our dog you need to feel protected and insured that if god forbid something happens you have options and your protected financially. We decided on getting Pet Insurance when our dog was 10 weeks old knowing that vaccinations and healthy visits can add up. Everyone we asked including our vet said Embrace 2 & 1/2 years later we are beyond happy we decided upon them and highly recommend that you do so as well!

Extremely Satisfied
Signed my 8 year old dog (9 now) up with Embrace in early 2017. I enrolled my dog after spending $3k out of pocket on my sick border collie mix only to be told she needed surgery at an additional $8-10k and was given a 50/50 chance of survival (she had a mass in her intestines that had ruptured and the mass had potential pancreatic involvement). My border collie mix wasn't terribly old at age 11 and I had expected to have a few years left with her at least. Sadly this wasn't the case due to both cost and the survival prognosis. I held her and sat with her as I said goodbye. I didn't want cost to have any influence on my medical decisions for my dogs in the future. Embrace's policy was clear on what would and would not be covered, a medical review could be done upon request to determine if the dog had any pre-existing medical conditions, and an orthopedic waiver was an option to avoid the 6 month waiting period for bone/joint issues. I made sure Embrace received my pet's medical records shortly after enrolling along with going to the local vet to have an orthopedic exam done. This way I had assurance on what would be covered and if my dog was considered to have any pre-existing conditions what would not be covered. Later half of 2017 my dog injured his back. He got better for a while but had a relapse. The relapse resulted in further diagnostic testing which revealed he had developed IVDD. At this point my dog will need ongoing medical care for the rest of his life as dogs with IVDD have tendencies to relapse into being painful. Thankfully my dog can still have many years to spend with me even with IVDD as long as he is rested for the appropriate amount of time during periods of relapse. My first claim was submitted to Embrace and I received approval for my claim within 7 days. Yes the claims process could be made easier (having to have the vet fill out the claim form every vet visit is a pain and each claim form is reimbursed as a separate claim even if submitted together). But overall I am extremely satisfied with Embrace.
