Rates are a bit on the high side . I wish they were a little more affordable, especially since I have had only one claim that they paid only about 1/4 of . Less than a one month premium , which I have carried for 3 years now .

I have already recommended Trupanion
I have already recommended Trupanion to many folks who love their fur babies as much as I do. When I considered getting pet insurance, I asked many folks who had pets what they thought. They all said it was a waste of money and I should not get it. But somehow I had this nagging feeling that, despite people's opinion, I should follow my mind and get it. I genuinely appreciate the Trupanion program! My puppy had a tooth infection requiring dental surgery within 2 months of adopting him which was definitely an unexpected cost right off the start in addition to all the other start up pet fees and vet visits. It was a true relief that Trupanion assisted with the cost of his tooth correction. Thank you kindly!

It's been several weeks and I have yet to hear back from Trupanion about my reimbursement claim. I paid APAW for the full invoice and was expecting Trupanion to reimburse me instead of APAW.
