Embrace is just the best!
I had a different insurance for the first year of my cat's life, and they were the opposite of Embrace. She had an episode that required us to go to the emergency clinic, and we ended up paying 80% of the bill, which was what we were hoping the insurance company would have paid. They disallowed this and that, and it was very disappointing. Soon thereafter I learned of Embrace, and switched immediately. This month we had our first claim with Embrace, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. They paid what they said they would pay, and the claim was handled with lightning speed. It was so wonderful not to have something else to worry about while we were taking care of Maggie. Thank you, thank you!!

Heart breaking
So upset with this insurance. I have been with you for 8 years with my dogs. I call today. And my dog Ozzy needs a certain medicine from his vet. It costs 471.00 a MONTH. I am on SSI disability. I get 1100 a month to live on. I spoke to the vet. He said he must take this medicine. Or he is going to get worse..I asked for help with Nationwide. They told me that they can only cover 500 a year. I find it unacceptable. I pay 150 a month for my dogs to be covered. I am very very upset. I can not live on 150 a week to live on. Please please help me. I don't want to see my dog suffer and possibly be put down if he doesn't get better. Thank you for your time for reading this. My heart is broken...I can't let anything happen Tony dog Ozzy.

Excludes any accident coverage for 6 months involving orthopedic injury’s
I was going to purchase for two dogs. I was given a quote for a dog 5 years old, 7-8 lbs which excluded any ortho injury even for a dog attack, another animal, or being in a car accident for 6 months. Who wants insurance for a healthy dog or two, that you pay for for 6 months, that excludes accidents? All dogs mostly incur bone injuries in case of a trauma. I went with Pet Plan who insure my cat. 5 days waiting period for accidents and injuries .

Processing speed
I absolutely love have Nationwide as my insurance for my pet, but the only thing that I would love to change is having either a quicker processing speed to pay off the debt of the vet bill, or to have the vet bill the pet insurance (like my human insurance does) and have me pay off the balance remaining. I believe the coverage is top notch, but feel this would make things so so so much better!

You guys are alway great and answer my questions ! Alway have for the last 9 yrs since I have my dog and with your company just hope that one day there is a discount for check up and vaccination even if it's a small % ! We paying big nick for insurance not really use it as I pay the max coverage ! Just think that's an incentive for people to have their dog insurance doesn't have to be big but .... it help ! As is .... it's a lot of $ $120 a month when we don't really use it !

After much research I decided to go with Trupanion.
After much research, I decided to go with Trupanion. I've been very happy. The monthy fee was affordable, which made it easy for me. Unfortunately, I received a notice that my monthly fee was going up, and it was significant. It's upsetting because I can no longer afford Trupanion, and I will have to do my research for another insurance once again. I wish I could keep Trupanion.
