We have an 87 lb. baby, Jack, we love to pieces. He is my husband's companion after husband experienced a cardiac event. We could not function without Jack here. Trupanion has paid all of our claims to date. Big ones and little ones. Trupanion gives me peace of mind that Jack will always be cared for no matter what.

Great piece of mind
After spending thousands of dollars, and losing our Corgi to cancer two years ago. We researched pet insurance for our other two dogs. We are so glad we chose Pets Best. Claims process is super-easy, direct-deposit reimbursement is convenient, and we feel like it's a good value. Our first year we only used it for partial reimbursement for some wellness items (vaccines, flea/tick, heartworm, blood work). This year one of our dogs was diagnosed w/a heart murmur. Initial testing and specialist bill was very costly & his monthly prescription meds are $140/mo. With our 80% reimbursement, the plan is now paying for itself. Very happy with Pets Best insurance.

I love the pet insurance
I am very pleased with my per insurance. I love the fact that they reimburse you 90% once you hit your deductible. That helps me out a lot. On top of that the pet insurance is not too expensive. I'm glad that I feel that I can take my Louie to the vet and I will get some type of help with the cost.

So Glad We Got This Insurance
This insurance is affordable and they are quick to respond to all claims. I have to say having insurance for my ESA pup has been a life savor she has had to have surgery on both her hind legs, she had a ruptured acl in both legs about a year apart, which ran us around $3000.00 for both legs and with out this insurance I am sure we would still be paying for it, not to mention the injections she will now need for the rest of her life. I can honestly say without this insurance we would be struggling to get her medical needs taken care of. I would give my last penny for my pup but now I don't have to thanks to Nation wide pet insurance. I highly recommend this to all animal lovers.

Easy and fast to file claims and receive reimbursement.
We've been happy with our coverage that includes wellness. The wellness visits, medication and exams have been covered, including all vaccines and parasite control. That alone would be a monthly expense that costs 1/3 of what I pay for premium. All claims that were submitted have been paid without a fuss. Our frenchie girl is 14 months old and we're glad we her insured.

I have been satisfied in every regard in my association with Trupanion. EXCEPT THE CONSTANT INCREASE IN MY PREMIUM. I am told that has nothing to do with dog's increasing age but as a retired senior it is difficult. HOWEVER, MY CLAIMS HAVE BEEN TREATED FAIRLY...IT HAS HELPED IMMENSELY AND I WILL INSURE MY NEXT DOG TOO.

A lifesaver...LITERALLY!!
Affordable peace of mind. I received a 30 day trial from the shelter where I got my 1 yr old cat Sunshine. Less than a week later she was attacked by a stray dog. I thought for sure being a “trial” policy that I would have to jump through hoops to get even part of her care covered. So not the case. My vet was able to confirm my benefits right away and give Sunshine the treatment she so desperately needed. It was the peace of mind I needed in a very traumatic situation. 3 nights of emergency care, all I was responsible for was my deductible and 10%. You pray you never need the coverage, but when you do, it’s worth every penny and then some.
