ASPCA is AMAZING!! They truly care about animals & pay claims in a timely manner
ASPCA has been so amazing in every aspect of health insurance. They have affordable premiums. You are not limited to one vet. They pay clams quickly. The best part is they will call and follow up on your pet and truly care about the well being of the pet and family. This has been the best experience choosing ASPCA. Easy claims process and fair so far
So far the cost of insurance doesn't outweigh the benefits as my dog has not been seriously ill or injured. They really charge a lot for older dogs so I can't give a glowing review. They are fair in their reimbursements and cover many expenses. I think they are improving the claims process as far as submitting them electronically and paying claims via direct deposit.

Pets Best made an expensive procedure affordable.
My 6-month-old Silky Terrier Zoe didn't lose her upper canines and had both the baby and adult teeth growing next to each other. She had to have them pulled which required anaesthesia and x-rays. It's actually an expensive procedure, but Pets Best made it affordable. I had to pay my deductible, and my percentage of the bill but Pets Best covered most of the expense! I'm very pleased with the results of my first claim. The whole process was also very easy. Thank you to Pets Best!

Forms were online and easy to fill out. Response to questions was quick and so was the whole process. I receive my check (by mail as I requested, which was slower than if you wanted direct deposit) within less than a month after submitting claim. I felt what I received was a fair amount.

Friendly knowledgeable customer service
Friendly, knowledgeable customer service, remarkably efficient claim processing. Only minor concern is news reports of upcoming premium increases. Mine went up significantly last year (even after I raised the deductible) but that was after eight years plus of little or no increases.

Another deductible for same issue
I'm extremely agitated with the fact that I had to pay another deductible for the same diagnosis where to my understanding in the policy once the deductible was met for that issue it was covered anytime in the future. I was told that because they are unrelated even with the same diagnosis code I will have to pay a deductible every time because it's not a chronic issue and that makes me angry because I have been paying for it all this time under the understanding that once the deductible is met for an issue it's covered at 90% for their lifetime there after. I have referred several individuals and clients to Trupanion. I have worked at 2 different veterinary clinics spanning 6 years and that was always my understanding in how it was explained to me. I'm very disappointed.
