Thanks for the help with Duncan's surgeries!
Thanks for processing of our claim and reimbursement for Duncan's surgeries. He was neutered - which is a very big deal literally and figuratively for a Great Dane - and he also had a gastropexy. That's a procedure where the stomach is tacked in place so that it cannot flip and reduces the chances of bloat which is a huge risk in the Great Dane breed. He came through both surgeries just fine but as with all things involving a 170 lb dog, it was pricey. Very helpful to have the reimbursement from Nationwide!

Simple/fast/helpful
I really like Embrace. The claim submission process is simple and quick. The company always gets back to you quickly if you have any questions and explain the decision of the claim thoroughly. If they need more information about a claim, they make a point to reach out to the vet for more information rather than just deny the claim. I also really like the fact how personal it is and how I don't just feel like I am talking to a robot. I love the option of the wellness rewards because it makes paying for necessary things a lot easier and less harsh on the wallet. I wish it was a little cheaper but I still make it work. If only health insurance for humans was this simple!

Worth while service for our two golden retrievers, Bella (7 yrs) and Howie (9 years).
We began pet insurance for both of our dogs when they were under a year old with VPI which later turned into Nationwide. Both dogs have the top of the line in coverage. The coverage is great! I especially like being able to e-mail my vet bill along with the Nationwide claim directly to you. Reimbursement usually arrives in a couple of weeks. Both my husband and I are retired and my only concern is the increasing cost as the dogs age. Sincerely, Joy D. Aurella

Love my Nationwide Pet Insurance
No more long anxious nights wondering if I can afford to take my pet to the Vet when he is injured or sick. Recently Beau fell from my front porch trying to catch a rabbit. He tripped and fell on his back and injured his tail. I was worried it would never work right again. Before I had Pet Insurance, I would have waited and worried to see if it got worse or better before facing the expense of an emergency Vet visit! But with Nationewide, I called their 24 hour Vet hotline and spoke to someone right away at Midnight! They asked lots of questions and had me examine his back and tail by touch. They helped ease my mind that it wasn’t an emergency and waiting another day to see my regular vet during working hours would be fine. My Vet examines Beau the next day and ordered an anti inflammatory and rest. A week later, Beau was back to his normal rambunctious self—wagging his tail happily in greeting every time he saw me. I was able to take a picture of the Vet Bill before we left her office and submitted it electronically right there. 30days later, my 90% reimbursement was electronically transferred into my checking account. I love my dog and I LOVE Nationwide Whole Wellness!!!! Now I can afford to give Beau the level of care he deserves.

waste of money
Waste of money, don't bother! Pay a $120 a month for top coverage yet they cover nothing.

great prompt service and claims processing
been with them for many years. KC had some serious problems after attack by unknown predator---survived and ran up the bills---claims were paid according to my policy---fast. lately just had a buch of cold laser treatments for her and again paid within days of submitting several bills. they are not cheap as KC gets older but their coverage for her and payments when problems occur have been great. Have to recommend with no reservations

Pets Best paid for itself.
Pets Best paid for itself the first year I had it for my lab-mix, Sam. Submitting claims is easy and the feedback on submitted claims is predictable. They never try to avoid covering visits/procedures that they should cover based on my plan.

Please help!
It goes up too much every year. I am beginning to think I should just save my money and then I would have it. It's more than a car payment soon. Hydro is so expensive here. My dog is only 4 and small. How can it be that much. Other companies are accused of penalizing for claims. Sounds like you might be too. So disappointed that being a responsible pet owner is becoming impossible. Please help!

Trupanion is expensive
I have always given a 9 or 10 on this, but with insuring 5 dogs, and rates going up from $119.58 to $141.87 for $22.29/mo. ($267.48 a year) for my Basset Hound, it frightens me to see what will happen when the Bloodhounds policies come around for renewal. There is no way I can afford roughly $111 a month increase (if all 5 dogs were to have the same increase). Yes, I can go to a $250 deductible, but when I am paying 100% for Office Visits, the $0 deductible makes it easier. I am seriously thinking of going to Nationwide with my next dogs. For roughly the same rates, they cover preventative and office visits.
