Pet insurance is important
Every time someone says they are getting a dog I tell them how important it is to get pet insurance. I'm a prime example why someone should have pet insurance. Crunch has had a lot of problems and its sure nice to know that I never have to worry about the cost because of my insurance.

I do not like rates rises each year.
I do not like the fact that enrolling my two Labradoodle puppies at the earliest possible time, the rates have risen each year. I guess it's just like my homeowner and auto insurance.

I think Trupanion is great.
I think Trupanion is great. I wish there were an out of pocket expense cutoff. They are very good at explaining the overage when you call and helping you understand the statements better. The cost of the insurance has gone up at intervals as has everything else except my retirement pension. I love my dogs and would do anything for them and that is why I have the insurance.

Actually Toby is fine. The vet visit was his annual checkup & everything is great. You guys are the best. After a slow start (you kept saying he had other insurance which he did not. I canceled the other in order to go with your company. I love everything about your insurance. You pay for annual checkups. Your company is awesome.

Nationwide is there for you and your pet...
Nationwide has been a very good insurer for our frenchie, Astor. Unfortunately, one thing they don't tell you when you sign up is that if you want the best plan, you need to request that at your renewal. Since our dog has had so many issues with allergies, we were unable to upgrade him to the highest plan, which would have covered his neutering. I would say, overall, the coverage has been great once you meet your deductible. Also note that there are different tiers and you need to check what is covered under each, because for instance neutering was not covered under the second tier plan which we have.

Better Insurance than I have!
The only have 2 complaints - Which is was less expensive and it takes to long for the claim to be paid. Otherwise I have been with this company from VPI which transitioned to Nationwide for 12 yrs and never had a problem.
