Was skeptical, now grateful!
I was expecting a catch with Grendel's teeth cleaning, but I was very grateful to learn it was a straightforward claim and Nationwide paid 90% of the total bill as promised. It'd be nice if the premium was a bit lower, else I'd rate a 10. Still, I am very happy with the customer service and peace of mind.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the BEST investment you can make for your pet's health!
I researched pet insurance companies before we adopted Ernie and decided that Nationwide had the best coverage options for Ernie. Personally, I think Ernie has better health insurance than I do, but that's ok. We are fortunate to live in an area with a regionally known dental specialist that recommended Ernie get his teeth cleaned every year as his breed tends to have dental issues at some point. Well, Ernie is now 4 and has had an abscessed tooth, and 2 others pulled (different years) as a result the vet bill was over $700 for cleaning and extractions. With Nationwide, we submitted the claim and after meeting the deductible, we received 90% of the charges back and we now have an "Ernie HSA account" at the local bank. We add change and miscellaneous checks to the account to build up the balance. But thanks to Nationwide, we have a cushion for vet bills and Ernie receives excellent care as most things are covered under his policy. Thank you for providing this fantastic service to our Ernie!

I wanted to be prepared for eventualities in case I needed help with my beautiful Pug, Nationwide Pet Insurance has delivered that so far, peace of mind. They have refunded me every time my vet visit qualifies and in most cases the total amount. It's always good knowing my pet Weego is covered and I can take him to the vet without worrying about spending and worrying much about taking care of him and his vet. Nationwide Pet Insurance has 24/7 help and my monthly payment is being deducted from my payroll since my company has that extra benefit.

ASPCA Pet Insurance helps me cover the risk of high vet bills
I have insured my Labrador Retriever with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for more than ten years. Ever since he ate an entire banana (peel and all), I've known that you have to find some way to hedge against the risk of high veterinary bills. Paying a yearly premium to ASPCA Pet Health Insurance helps me to do just that. Some years we've more than made up for the premiums in terms of claims submitted. Other years we've had few bills to cover. Overall, though, the peace-of-mind that comes from knowing that our largest bills would be covered is well worth the price of coverage.

I was not aware of the term limit for skin conditions
I should have read my policy morr carefully as there is a maximum payout cap for skin disorder per year. I plan to terminate my contract before august renewal

Very efficient
Very useful...did not have insurance on Taffy (Cairn Terrier who passed away at age 18). She had medical problems which cost us a fortune. This is nice...Pet Insurance is a must. Riley (new Cairn Terrier) has benefited from Nationwide (as have his "parents). A+ for your pet insurance.

Emergency Vet Visit
I am a new dog-mom and recently had a scare with my French Bulldog puppy. He had bitten into an iris outside and hours later showed signs of toxicity. This resulted in a very expensive overnight trip to the emergency vet. Thanks to this pet insurance, I was reimbursed for around 2/3 of the cost I paid out of pocket! It is comforting to be able to have the peace of mind to know the full financial burden won't be on you during a scary time like this.
