Expensive but so far its been a good coverage plan
Its an expensive package and I think the $250 deductible is a bit high for what I pay per month, but because my cat is older I wanted something that covered the big stuff really well and this plan did that. However, because he's older when I signed up, the price per month is obviously much more expensive which is hard. Overall, my cat is extremely healthy and it is hard to meet the deductible every year, but I am preparing for when there might be something harder to deal with.

Peace of Mind - Best Coverage Out There
I am not one to leave reviews, but I feel this coverage is so exceptional and important to have that I felt compelled to do so. Nationwide covers more than other insurance companies with no limits at a reasonable cost. I did my research and asked many questions before purchasing. . My baby girl will always receive the best care possible thanks to Nationwide Pet Insurance!!! You cannot put a price tag on peace of mind!!

Great Coverage, Slowing Response Times
I’m very happy with my coverage and the costs for insurance vs what we get for it, so far we have had a great return on it and recommend it to every pet owner we know. Having said that, claim response times slowed from 2 weeks to 1 month on average (which they are allowed to take 30 days)

So friendly, helpful and easy to understand.
We covered our Great Dane puppy Worth every single dollar- and I feel so comfortable I am going to insure the two chihuahuas. Seriously, worth it.

They don't cover half the claims, then only cover less than half the cost.
I will be looking for a better insurance company, for my 2 dogs, this one does not cover most claims, they charge me $52 dollars a month for my puppy, just had rabies shot, which you would think it would be covered by insurance, under wellness, the charge from vet was $35, they paid $15, said $20 was not covered, this makes no since to me, I have had 7 claims from my 2 dogs, only one for the older dog and 2 for the puppy have been covered, and those only part of the bill was covered, I see were they say they have paid out 1.5 million in claims since 2005, I bet they have made double or triple that in monthly billings from people like me that thought this would help with vet cost, but if you add up, what you are paying monthly and the little they cover, you would most likely save money by not paying them and going without insurance, I would not recommend pets best for you pets insurance.

Good option to have
Like all insurance, pet insurance is great to have if you need it and the company has integrity. For us the cost is manageable. We hope to not need it for an expensive veterinary visit. So far our experience has led us to believe we can count on Nationwide Pet Insurance.
