Doubled premium rates at the 1 year
This company probably won't last-- they were offering insurance plans that were too good to be true and must have finally realized because without warning they doubled my premium ($42 to $86) for the same plan. I only went with Figo because they had great coverage compared to cost and waived a lot of waiting periods for certain conditions (hip dysplasia, etc). However, if they will be doubling my premium to be able to offer this type of coverage, this is not what I signed up for. I should have went with Healthy Paws from the beginning and I would be past the 1 year waiting period. Wasted a year with Figo. Go with more reputable insurance providers. They are NOT IT.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has totally exceeded my expectations. It's definitely worth the yearly premium and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone with a pet.

Not at all worth having this insurance - especially if your pet is over 8 years old!
This Insurance is useless - I had NO claims for years, yet my bill went up SIGNIFICANTLY each additional year. When I finally did need coverage - after the deductible - I received virtually nothing back. The bill to insure my HEALTHY 14 year old Tabby would have been almost $1300.00 BEFORE getting a penny of coverage! - AND for a Policy of only 80 percent coverage to only $5000. It is smarter to put the premium money in the bank - You will be MUCH better off than this AWEFUL and USELESS coverage.

Grateful to have health insurance for my pets.
We have appreciated having reasonable health insurance for our 2 dogs. The claims have been a bit delayed in being paid some times; however, the new direct deposit process makes the payments appear much more quickly.

Daisy became ill suddenly requiring emergency care, over $ 700 spent on visits and medicine. Thank goodness for pet insurance....fast, reliable a wonderful investment!!!!

Horrible Service not customer friendly
Not willing to take my monthly payments all on the same day. Offered to pay a month ahead if they would switch my payment dates to all on the same day instead of all over the place. They would rather cancel all my 10 cats than change the billing day. After calling around to multiple other companies we switched everyone to ASPCA insurance for 1/4 of the price.
