Comforting to have this insurance

My 19 month old golden ran into a hive of yellow jackets. He came out rolling, and licking everywhere. First time he's been stung so I was not sure if he was allergic like my older golden or not, so off to the emergency vet we went. Luckily he had no reaction, but it was so comforting knowing I would get assistance with the cost and not have to worry about having the money to take him. Turns out he was fine, and I had a huge influx of peace of mind.

Peace of Mind

Hartville Pet Insurance has given me peace of mind for my two 1.5 yrs. old rambunctious pups. Claims are processed efficiently and accurately. With direct deposit, you receive your reimbursement within one or two days after the claim has been approved. Customer service is outstanding. I am extremely satisfied with the coverage and pricing of this insurer. I highly recommend this company.

Ease of mind

When your pet is in need of care for illness or injury the last thing you want to worry about is cost. Vet bills are expensive and one incident can be devastating to your bank account. Having Nationwide helped ease my mind and helped me to make the best decisions for my pet.

Healthy Paws Has Saved Us

My poor Husky has had 3 major surgeries in 14 months. Two ACL repairs and one to repair a tiny hole in his lungs. Healthy Paws has paid all three of those claims as expected and we have no complaints. Just understand what is paid for an what is not paid for. The cost of a office visit is not covered. Food is not covered and routine vaccinations are not covered. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. There is also a yearly deductible and in our case it is $250. My dog is my family and it's worth it to pay a few bucks a month to be sure he gets the care he need if he ever needs it. To me I would rather pay for it for 15 years and never use it then not pay for it and have to make a decision one time based on money. It is well worth it.

Trupanion best investment in your dog!

Trupanion has been one of the best investments we ever made in our dog or otherwise. We signed up our now ten year old Shiba Inu Yaki when he was a few months old. We were lucky that he has been so healthy that we rarely ever had to use Trupanion.

Trupanion was there when we needed them

We had several claim free years and were finding it difficult to justify the monthly premiums at times. Then both of our dogs required joint surgery. We are grateful to Trupanion for the stress-free claims and estimate approvals process and for easing our worries

Thank you for my Jess.

I adopted Jess 3.5 years ago. Since I've adopted her , Jess has had a total of 5 surgeries, 4 of them requiring intensive care, a regional mastectomy on the left side and full chain mastectomy on the right for mammary cancer. She is currently free of cancer and I'm so thankful for Trupanion

Poor Claim processing

We have had Trupanion for three and a half years for our two french bulldogs - Wally (3) & Maizey (1). Our first experience with Trupanion when Wally was one years old was very simple & payment was speedy! Fast forward two years, and our experience with our just 1 year old French Bulldog Maizey was completely opposite! Wally's claim was processed & paid within 10 days! Maizey had the same surgery Wally had; neuter/spay, nares widening, & palate trim. We are a few weeks out from surgery and I was told by the customer service representative that they are currently working on claims dated August 15th, and that I should expect to see our claim processed in the next two months. The following day I looked on our Trupanion website & learned that our policy rate would be increased this year. Over a span of 3 years our policy has gone from $107 a month ($200 deductible) for just Wally to $128, & in the 1 year Maizey has been covered her policy went from $147 (same deductible) to $171. So Trupanion charges way more & their customer services has declined drastically. Looking for a better insurance plan!!!
