No hastle pet insurance

I have had this pet insurance for several years. I've not had any claim processing issues and I've had many claims, even a much needed surgery on my pets eye. If I have any questions, I just call them. I read the policy and understand what is covered and what is not. I have the Whole Pet & Wellness Plan which has been great for me and my pet. I would recommend Nationwide to other pet owners.

Great service, BUT....

When I adopted my rescue dog, I immediately got pet insurance. I've learned from past experience that vet bills can be astronomical. Therefore, I bought the best plan I could find. My dog has NOT had any major issues since we got her 2 years ago. The first year the premium was around $69 per month. The second year it was around $84 per month. Even with the premium increase, I thought it was still worth it. This year the renewal went up to $151.67 per month. THAT IS CRAZY!!!! I can live with a small increase, but that's almost double!!!! I will NOT be renewing my coverage. I'm planning to just put the $1800 per year in a separate account, and draw on it if/when my dog needs vet care. I'm very disappointed.

So happy Weezie is covered

It's a great feeling to know Weezie is covered if anything happens. Shes family and its wonderful to know shes protected if she gets sick or hurt. Nationwide has been easy to deal with and prompt with reimbursement. Would recommend them to anyone getting a dog.

the maximum per-incident is disheartening

We've been with Pets Best Pet Insurance since 2010. We been paying $267.00 a month since Dec 2018. Now our dog's got cancer and there is a maximum per-incident in the benefit. - Read Yelper Moo M of Pullman, WA - I agree with Yelper Moo M. It is disheartening the maximum per-incident claim maximums compared to the other Pet Insurance on the market. Both my sisters are with Pets Best base on my recommendation. As soon as I realized there is a "maximum per-incident" in the benefit. I call them and they both are now with a Pet Insurance company that have "UNLIMITED per-incident " in the benefit and lower monthly fees. Hope this review will help someone else from making the same mistake I did.

Best insurance for my dogs EVER!

I’ve never had an issue with any claim. I first started out with one dog. Now I have three and all are covered. Fast claim reimbursements and fair policy premium costs. I’ve recommended them to many friends who now have insurance on their pets.

Thanks to Trupanion!

I have a designer dog, a Morky. As most of us know these dogs are among the sweetest but, they do seem to come with a lot of health issues. I don't know how I would have paid for these health issues without the help of my Trupanion Health Insurance. Thanks

Great coverage for my dogs

I have always been very happy with my dogs' coverage with Nationwide and like knowing that they are covered no matter what happens. I never want to worry about whether I can afford to get my dogs the care they need.

Having Pet Insurance is having peace of mind

Stella was limping after going on a hike. We went to the vet and they confirmed she tore her meniscus tendon. So we will need surgery to fix her. The cost of the x-rays and the visit were fully covered. And after looking at the policy, most of the surgery will be as well. Talk about peace of mind. I can be sure she won't be in pain for a long period of time waiting for me to get the cash to pay for everything out of pocket.
