Bella is back to normal!
Thank you for helping Bella through her illness. We have had very windy conditions here and we believe she ate pedals from a toxic flower that blew into our yard from somewhere. Our dogs are in the house most of the time and they have a lot of active time in the yard but we go out with them to encourage exercise and to keep them safe because we have heard of coyotes attacking dogs of all sizes not to mention mountain lions! We are very careful about what they come in contact with but having a huge fenced yard it is hard to see everything. My only complaint with Nationwide is that we rescued Bella and her brother from a bad situation and were told they were a mix, shepherd and lab. I didn't realize they could have a hereditary issue until Bella was diagnosed with hip and elbow dysplasia. We have her on cosequin and a special prescription diet to help her feel better and monitor the severity daily but we can't afford to pay $15k - $20k for surgeries that are not covered.

Peace of Mind My Sweet Dog Will Get The Care She Deserves
My sweet dog's mouth was hurting and she needed to have two teeth extracted. Without her insurance, the procedure would have been cost prohibitive. Thankfully her insurance paid 90% of the cost and she is now doing great, is a very happy dog, and is eating well.

When it comes to pet it's always hard ....the vet is very expensive and sometime you are forced to take decision you wouldn't take if you could . Not being concerned about money is great ! You have to anticipate but you know you are going to have them back so no worries ! You can tale care of your pet the best way possible and this is really great !

Nationwide pet insurance has saved my oversensitive wonderful little dog!
Having bought good pet insurance before ever taking my new puppy to see a veterinarian is one of the best things I've ever done! My pup is oversensitive to foods and needs prescription foods and medicines to live a happy life. Nationwide has and is paying 90% of her persistent medical needs.

Thank Goodness for Nationwide Pet Insurance
When we got our sweet Rebel in June we knew she had to be insured. The shelter and our vet were pushing a different company, which seemed great because insurance would kick in immediately. Nationwide was a perk offered through my work, with a small discount, the drawback was it wouldn't kick in for one month. But in comparing the two and researching others we went with Nationwide. Not just for the small discount and auto payments out of my check but because they cover more with a smaller deductible than their competitors. Unfortunately our baby girl Rebel got very sick recently, she had to go through a series of expensive tests and medications before we found out what was wrong with her. Luckily Nationwide covered 90% of our costs (after deductible). I couldn't be more thrilled!! You can't imagine how relieved I am that Nationwide was by our side.
