Our Lilly was spayed and all I did was take the claim form to our vet and they did the rest. Claim was processed in a timely manner and the reimbursement was GREAT. Well worth the premiums and low deductible

Having Bella insured takes the fear out of Vet visits
We have our second set of dachshunds. The first (boys) lived 15 years and cost us thousands of dollars with dental care and heart care in the senior years. But we loved them and paid it. When they passed 9 days apart we decided we wanted to rescue 2 girls. They have been a blessing for the last 6 years. As soon as we rescued them we got insurance. It has been so much easier to live without fear of vet bills. We pay the premium and have some assistance from insurance. When the unexpected emergencies happen we get them to the vet and submit the claim. For us it helps prevent the big hits of being pet parents like we experience with our first set of dachshunds. We like it.

I had my last dog covered under this insurance for 11 years. It was a god send at times to be able to have him covered to help me to be able to recover the cost of his vet bills. Especially when he got sick, as well as when he had to have surgery. a time or two. I now have my Pomeranian covered under the same policy.

The BEST Coverage
Nationwide is the best coverage you can buy (make sure to get Whole Pet with Wellness). I bought this because one of my cats broke their arm, after being left with a $4,500 dollar bill, plus the weekly visit costs, I decided all the pets needed the insurance. Fast forward to almost a year later and my oldest cat hasn't been feeling well. I had to take her to the emergency vet where she stayed for 3 days. With all the diagnosis and test, we found out that she has high-grade lymphoma. Completely devastated. I have to say I was nervous about having a $4,200 vet bill, but I was hoping it would be covered. I would say the only downside is that it's a reimbursement rather than coverage. So you have to pay everything up front, not knowing if it's going to be covered, which can add quite a bit of stress. However today I found out my bill is being reimbursed, so my portion is only around $400 rather than $4,000! Thank you Nationwide for easing some of my stress with the financials!

We love Nationwide - great service, great response, most importantly covers our reproductive service & health testing needs!
We've been using Nationwide for approximately 8 months now and have been extremely pleased. We have their top plan which covers 90% of our vet bills/visits and are so grateful we are able to do our wellness/preventative treatments and tests in addition to addressing illness, injuries, issues. The mobile app makes it super easy to submit claims which are often paid within a week! We use several vet clinics and specialists and haven't had an issue receiving payouts for any of them. Our Rottweiler is an active performance dog sport competitor and Grand Champion Show Dog so the main reason we chose Nationwide was that they included our required OFA health testing and reproductive services such as semen collection/freezing as part of our plan. This is super important and the biggest reason we recommend Nationwide to every "dog person" we know. Thank you Nationwide for keeping our pup healthy and our minds at ease that our beloved dog is in great hands no matter who we choose as our care provider.
