We're SO pleased with the ease and value of this service

Exceptional, but we pay for the best plan. the major concern is that we were just given notice that the price has almost doubled - so we'll shop other carriers. it's disappointing, and we're not sure why the rate went from sixty-something to over one hundred something dollars. He's 3, and he's getting a lot easier. We pay in MUCH more than we ever get back or spend, so it's getting unbalanced. but, if you want insurance and don't mind paying... it IS just in case something catastrophic happens... and you never know with hunting/running dogs. this company is FANTASTIC. they make it so easy.

Grateful

I had been ready to cancel this policy as I had no reason to qualify for payments. A representative worked with me to make it more $$ feasible. Thank goodness because I was very grateful to get some reimbursements for a significant vet bill.

First claim ever

I am a lifetime pet owner and I have never had pet insurance. I got a new puppy 2 years ago and thought , this time, I'm getting insurance. Of course, nothing has gone wrong yet!. This was my first claim and it was absolutely great and the check has already arrived.

I expected more!

Processing was slow almost a month. I fully accept the deductible and the 90% coverage, but the diagnostic exam to determine the injury and course of treatment should have been covered. Out of a 268.50 bill you paid only 8.55. For this I pay $50 per month.

So thankful we had this, even if we did have to wait a bit

Our cat Cindy has never been sick a day in her life until this month when she inexplicably stopped eating and all activity and just slept for about a week. We took her in and while we are extremely relieved that the medications and tests ran have made her her old self again, we got major sticker shock of how much we had to pay upfront for her treatment. I’m so relieved we had Embrace Pet Insurance. Knowing we were covered made it a less stressful time, knowing that we could pay what we needed to get her better without breaking the bank. It probably saved her life. My only issue was that during the process of getting our claims validated, the system said that there was no diagnosis listed on the claims form and they reached out to our vet, which my vet verified they did not; so my vet had to fax over the info and while two of the claims were processed almost right away, I had to email to re-examine the third because it still came up as needing a diagnosis to move forward when the diagnosis when now listed. But once it got reopened it was verified and settled the same day. Thank you Embrace!

Best pet insurance, hands down

I have been a client of Nationwide Pet Insurance for over 10 years. I've had both my french bulldogs covered under their various policies. In the last few years, I've had the whole pet with wellness rider plan. It covers 90% of all our expenses after our deductible. It is expensive (and this last years rate hike was extreme) but I decided to stay with the same coverage. The coverages give me a real piece of mind. If next years price increase jumps nearly $100 again I will look into switching companies. So Nationwide please take this into consideration. While I understand that insurance costs reflect a multitude of factors - at the rates, I am now paying - the least insurance companies should do is try and get the costs we pay per year deducted on our taxes. Use your influence and lobbyists; our animals are a part of our family.
