Pets Best is the best decision you can ever make for the sake of your pets.

This policy has been the best decision I ever made. When my older dog Bandit came down with cancer, Pets Best was right there with their easy as hell claim process, quite response time and excellent customer service. There is no question about it. They are worth the money should you ever need it.

Friendly and knowledgable

It is a relief to have a decent insurance on my new pet...as I rescued her as an older dog 6.5, I was unsure of what kind of insurance to get for her and what it would cover. Pets plus Us seemed to fit the bill...I have my other dog on it already so it made sense to put my new girl on there as well. I really like that you don't have to pay the deductible unless you use the insurance which is nice and the rates don't go up often like another company i was on.

Great investment for pet owners

PROS: Convenient monthly payments can be automatically charged, and the online claim process is user friendly (if you have computer access). Some claim process in about 3 weeks, and some faster. The 90% coverage has been a lifesaver as my poor kitty has IBD issues. Cons: I have the $250 deductible plan, which does not cover general checkups, taxes or shipping charges for online meds, or anal expression (sorry, TMI). The plan also charges a small fee for the monthly payment plan (no charge if you pay the $600 annual in one lump sum), which seems a bit much in today's online banking is very commonplace. ASPCA sometimes calls to ask how Cadelia is doing, which is a nice nuisance. The few times I've called CSR, never had a problem.

This is the third dog to use Nationwide. We love it.

Timely claim payouts, great coverage. We know it's more than some other insurance for pets but well worth it.

Very dependable

We have had Nationwide pet Ins for our dogs for years now and never had a problem. I am a veterinary technician of 18yrs (retired now) and know how expensive quality care for pets is! It is great to sit in the vets office and say” let’s do that” to a treatment and not have to worry about cost. When my pets are sick I don’t want to worry about a big vet bill on top of the worry for my fur babies!!!

good insurance but very expensive

insurance is easy and comprehensive and service is good. their prices used to be reasonable but I got a 50 percent rate increase this year. the rates go up every year by a ridiculous amount so it becomes unaffordable. I am disappointed that I have to look around for alternate insurance because I like the plan.

Trupanion was a good decision for us.

Our vet files claims for us or we can easily upload receipts online. By paying premiums over time, we are now able to afford our older pet's treatment. Trupanion makes it easy for us.
