In all my experiences of having pets, I've never really used vet services beyond vaccinations and the occasional ear infections. My mom had pet insurance for her little guy and I told her it was a waste of money and that company was ripping her off! Now that I had the opportunity to sign up for Nationwide, I wish my mom had the positive experience I have had! My two babies had unfortunate health issues arise and I wasn't sure how the insurance was going to work or if it was going to be a disappointment. Nationwide has been a blessing! The monthly rate is well worth the peace of mind, knowing that we're not in this alone! Thank you!!

Nationwide offers very reasonable plans for health insurance including "wellness." Nationwide's rates are less expensive than similar companies and their reimbursement is excellent. Just as significantly, they are very easy to contact by phone or email, and extremely helpful.

TRUpanion does not pay ANYTHING

TRUpanion read the fine print. They decide the amount not covered then they apply a deductible and basically ZERO out what they owe. No pre-existing this time and yet somehow they manage with every single claim I have turned in to PAY NOTHING. I am paying 217.00/mo. for what is it again? For nothing is clearly all I ever see from TRUpanion. This is not right! UNTRUpanion is more like it.

My 8 year old shitzu/havanese had her annual dental surgery (yes, surgery...not just cleaning unfortunately). Post surgery she developed unspecified and severe GI distress which required additional blood tests to rule out the cause. Nationwide Insurance coverage has literally saved her life, this time and for other serious medical procedures because I would not have been able to afford the life saving measures that she required.. They reimburse promptly, consistently abide their policy for coverages, and I highly recommend them for their no hassle, no argument, and honest handling of claims. I insured my dog within the first week of purchasing her at 11 weeks of age. I encourage all pet owners who may not have the means to pay for expected and unexpected life saving measures as well as anticipated maintenance, to use Nationwide Insurance for their beloved pets. I am eternally grateful that this advice was given to me before I made the decision to get my little girl.

Good Pet Insurance. Easy claim filing and quick returns. Vet line is helpful. Only drawback was the 75.00 a month rate increase this year. That was quite excessive.

Nationwide has a fairly easy claims process and a very straightforward policy on what is covered and what isn't. It is such a relief to know I don't have to worry about the cost of treatment when Pepper is ill, and I don't have to turn down needed tests because I can't afford them.
