So easy to file a claim

I wish claim reimbursement was just as rapid for us humans. You guys are so quick - within 2 days - sending reimbursement payment. I'm just annoyed about the preexisting condition restriction.

Good Insurance

We have had Nationwide pet insurance for 13 years now and love it. They always pay their 90%. The claim turn around time could be a little faster, but that is my only complaint.

Wonderful experience, streamlined process and quick reimbursement.

I've had my pet insurance for many years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service and product. If I had any complaints or concerns it would be that as my pets age our annual premium increases substantially. My older dog is not 13.5 and I've had to cancel his policy as it was too expensive. Also so many have multiple pets (I have 3) and it would be nice to see a multi-pet/policy discount.

Peace of Mind

My 6yr old Springer just had to have TPLO surgery and I submitted the very hefty claim the day of his surgery and it was reviewed and processed in just a couple short days. This was a major relief for financial reasons of course, but more importantly it reinforced to me why I am so glad that I have invested in my pups wellness. Helps me rest easier knowing that he can have access to great care and be protected!

Pretty good

I can't do claims myself without some problem arising. Claims must be done by the veterinary office here because of the need for diagnostic codes. Recently, renewal of policy fees jumped up MORE THAN DOUBLE without any warning or explanation. We will be looking for a different insurer if this continues.

Happy

I have been extremely happy with my dog's insurance policy. There is an amazing peace of mind knowing I can go ahead with whatever test the doctor orders and bring my pet into the vet, without thinking twice, when something goes wrong. As my pet ages, his medical expenses have increased a lot so I'm thrilled I have the policy in place!

Peace of mind, especially financially

Franklin has torn his achilles and had to have a complicated and expensive surgery. I am not sure we would be able to afford all the care he needed without having insurance. It has been the greatest investment we have ever made. I tell anyone thinking of getting a dog to buy insurance, you won't regret it!

Prompt Reimbursements

Nationwide is great at processing my claims and reimbursing me in a quick and efficient manner. I am very thankful that I have the insurance to help me care for my boy. My only complaint with Nationwide is the rate of annual increases . . . I'm afraid at some point (probably the next increase) they'll price me right out of being able to afford it, now that my boy is 11 years old.

Love being able to submit claims from my smartphone

Very easy to submit claims through app. Feel that coverage is great except if you end up using emergency vet services after normal visit hours. (kind of similar to human insurance) Otherwise I have been pleasantly surprised how much reimbursement I have received.
