Thrilled to bits!
The vet clinic works with Trupanion and they only billed me for my portion of the expenses. I was thrilled with this process and thrilled that Trupanion accepted the claim. Great company!
What a great company! I got this insurance for my pomeranian when he was 7 months old. He is around 14 months now and I have to say it is one of the best decisions I have made for my dog! Once we passed the waiting period for existing conditions, they have accepted most of the claims! They cover almost everything except for vaccines, exam, prescription food, ...etc. My dog had a foreign object removal surgery recently. The surgery was urgent, and the cost is above $3,000. Healthy paws covered the surgery cost within days of submitting my claim online via direct deposit. Their website is fantastic! it is very easy to create a profile, submit claims, and get reimbursement! I highly recommend getting this pet insurance or at least ask for a quote! it is SO worth it especially for big expenses like surgeries and xrays

Better than nothing
Take too long for the approval. And they don't have coverage for dental issues and I didn't know that, so they don't refund me nothing. But trupanion makes me feel safe, so I keep it.

Having been disappointed with other insurance companies in the past, not paying claims due to all kinds of fine print and red tape, I was so pleasantly surprised at Nationwide's easy process from start to finish! Nationwide allowed my dog's surgery to be affordable and therefore it ultimately saved his life! Thank you Nationwide!

Fast and Easy Claim Process
I cannot say enough good things about Nationwide Pet Insurance!!! My dog went to the vet for his yearly shots and medications (flea and heartworm). I could file my claim online and all I needed was to attach an electronic copy of the receipt. It took less than 5 min!!!! It was paid within a day or 2 and went directly to my bank account. I also was happily surprised when so much of the claim was paid - I wasn't expecting to have all the preventative medicines covered. I am a VERY happy customer!!!
